Rugged Up
Knowing I was going out into -6C to shoot Graf, My friend Carolyn advised me to “rug up”!
I knew there was a bicycle mural here, but I was beyond elated to find much more!

Basil’s
Painted in 1991, this mural has weathered 23 brutal Winnipeg winters, and the vicious sun of 23 prairie summers.
I wish I could have seen it freshly painted.
I want this kiss, and I know who I want it with.
Basil isn’t only a very yummy herb and restaurant, it’s yumminess of life.
It’s located at 137 Osborne Street
