The almost solstice sun cast long shadows, on older tidy garage doors.
This door had vines growing over it. Shadows cast are dramatic, veil-like.
She wears a blue butterfly in her hair.

Sidran from My Blog has done a gorgeous post on India’s first public art district at the Lodhi Colony.

I’m only showing some of the art, as you should go over to the post, where

.. not only will you get to see the rest of the pics, but Sidran has written a fab commentary.

Birdo & Getso painted this board fence wrapping a high-rise construction site.

It wraps 2 sides. I started at the west end where a Birdo horse lives in a lime green circle.

There are 3 abstracts, all in colorful circles, following to the east..

Then there’s a cute…raccoon? with different size ears.

Followed by 3 more abstracts.
Where it turns the corner, there’s a cute …. donkey?? or Kangaroo?? with different size ears.

Five more abstracts run along the north to south boards.
The final Birdo is gorgeous!

The Artists:
Judging from its condition, the barrier seems to have been there awhile. It feels like a piece or 2 were missing.
Kelly from Maritime Mac did an article on Sussex, New Brunswick.

Turns out it’s the Mural Capital of Atlantic Canada.

It’s so great that she discovered these largely historical murals.

Click on the pic below & see the entire post on Sussex.

Kelly’s blog is filled with wonderful pics & insights about Canada’s Maritime provinces.
If you’ve ever considered visiting Canada’s Atlantic provinces, you should browse her blog.

You will also find a very interesting trip to Africa that she reports on.

Check out the carousel of mural pics to discover the name of artists, and/or historical relevance.

⭐️ Thank You Kelly! ⭐️
The WINNIPEG JETS are in the Western Conference final. I’ve been a fan of the “Jets” since 2014. Sherrie has me all wound up!

This mural features the “Golden Jet” Bobby Hull whose slapshot was once clocked at 152.9 km/h. He was the first player in the NHL to sign a million dollar deal.

This mural also features Sherri’s fave, Teemu Selanne, inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame

Selanne Returned to Winnipeg for game six & got a standing ovation!

Bobby Hull & others have also returned to Winnipeg in the heat of the playoffs. “It’s going to be a hell of a game” says Bobby!
