This wonderfully colored bird kept its eye on me as I shot it.

It’s amazing what can be done on a garage door,

Then around the fence on the corner.

I’d forgotten about these pics, but A Frank Angle reminded me, inadvertently.

It was a post Frank did on Ordinary People. That reminded me about this street art shot in a parking lot. The shot below is from Frank’s post.

Frank covers the Murals of Cincinnati on his blog. If you check out Ordinary People, you will be in his mural category, and can check out many more delightful works of art. TY, Frank!

This is the last post from the Humane Society wall.

To the right of the orange cat playing with a ball of blue yarn (as you look at the mural) are 2 turtles.

Seems the turtles have bad eyes, or are they wearing glasses because they are shallow fashion turtles?

To the left is an orange cat who plays with an orange ball, and a black cat.

There’s nothing like 2 great big kitten heads in a row!

Cute or what?

This must be mom, because she is protecting the kittens from a dog and a bird.

Doug & the blue dog take up the end of the mural.

This guy is around the corner.

Maybe his real name is Doug?

“Canada’s Parliament declared December 6th the “National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women”, following the murder of 14 female engineering students at l’École Polytechnique de Montreal in 1989.”
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women took place on November 25 and marked the first day of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This ends on December 10, with International Human Rights Day.
To read about it see The Governnment of Canada‘s page on it.
Or this page: National Day of Remembrance
To read about events scheduled for this day in Toronto check out this information on The University of Toronto site.

For more events in Ontario, check out this page in The Society News

For Events in British Columbia check out Public Service Alliance of Canada, B.C. Region
There might be an event near you, no matter where you live in Canada, that you can attend.
Or, put it out on social media.

Does the country you live in have a day for Action on Violence Against Women?

Including the header, there 14 images of women in this post, one for each of the women of Remembrance on December 6. 9 are from back alleys, 4 are in underpasses & 1 is found in a deserted industry lot.

Rabbits are uber-smart, and it’s not just because they wear glasses.

Sometimes it’s because they don’t want to wear glasses. (vanity reasons)

Rabbits will be rabbits.

However, squirrels and chipmunks often wear watches (Thank you Carolee)
Whereas rats prefer donuts.

They also mesmerize you by running on a wheel.

Hey, Mr. Wapojif ! I could be a hamster. Look how cute I am!

Not the first dog, as I walk off the bridge, but what a beauty.

This mural is too, long for 1 pic, or even 1 post, so I put the mural in order, left to right. When you walk off the Queen St. bridge at River, find a skateboarding dog!

He follows a White & Black dog.

A Black & White dog meets the White & Black dog.

Very cool. Chick & Rabbit approve.

Then there’s this big cute goofy guy.

Another sweetie with his blue squirrel friend.

Above Chick is 1st as one passes the last of the railing on the Queen E. bridge to River. This long wall belongs to the Humane Society.

…then a Ladybug..

… then 2 little dogs….
… then this friendly guy (from my header) ends the brige. The next dog, is Skateboarding dog.

Second part of this mural in next post.
