This wonderfully colored bird kept its eye on me as I shot it.

It’s amazing what can be done on a garage door,

Then around the fence on the corner.

That’s so cool! I love the bright colours 😀
Me too! I love the way they brighten up the drab old alley! 😀
Nice Image
Yes, I agree! 😀
Perfect for the location … love the way it wraps around the corner.
Agree! 😀
Oh, I definitely want one, Resa! He is just gorgeous! 🙂
xoxoxo
I know, he is very gorgeous! I’ll have one, too! I just need to build a garage first. LOL! 😀 xoxoxo
Hi Resa
I am visiting from https://4amwriter.com/2017/12/18/make-a-bloggers-day-party/ Kate’s blog party. Carrie recommended your blog. I have met you on your Art Gowns blog.
Have you had a chance to see some of the murals which are a big part of our city, Christchurch since the earthquakes in 2010/11? Google Christchurch New Zealand murals. 🙂
This bird would certainly brighten my garage door.
Gallivanta,
Thank you for visiting!
Blog parties are a new concept, and I’m lagging behind due to the seasonal festivities.
I did go over to the site, but need to go back.
It takes at least 3 months to make an Art Gown, so this street art blog is fun in between. 😀
I have seen many fab murals from New Zealand, but I am not sure if I have seen the ones you speak of. Will check it out on Google!
😀 😀
Your art gowns are gorgeous Resa. I can’t even imagine how you have time to do street art photos as well!
Multi-level birdo. That damages my brain with fabulousness.
Further damage? Lol! I guess that would be feather damage. It’s a pretty great garage door painting!
Hello Resa,
Carrie Rubin sent me here! I’m hosting a blog party and she thought I’d enjoy seeing some of your work. That bird is amazing!! I could use colors like that on my garage, especially now, when everything is covered in snow. 🙂
That’s a stern bird indeed! I love it though, the imagination that goes into brightening up our neighbourhoods and streets should be applauded. You do so much to get it out there my friend and it is always a joy to come here and appreciate the works people do.
I want this in my garage door!
Me too, and I don’t even have a garage!
how about the side of a wall? I painted a sea mural for my friend on her front wall…it was small.
Yes, we are hoping to get a second story side wall mural in the spring. I have to put in a presentation to START. If approved they will supply the paint. I have several artists in mind. I pay the artist, but many do it for free.
I can’t wait for that Resa. I didn’t know that’s how it works. That’s exciting!
Toronto has a fab street art program. Even if they don’t accept my proposal, I can still get it done, but the paint would cost A LOT!
Paint is very expensive here! Perhaps a group of artists could split the bill, is that what you have in mind?
Unless they are painting illegally, artists will never buy the paint!!! LOL! ❤
haha! so true. I would if I were there, we would do a bang up job.
OMG! You & I would rock the city!
Or I would make a total mess, but that’s just between you and I. lol.
I’m with Holly…I want one as well. So very, very cool.
I’m with both of you on this one…I want one, too, and as I Mentioned to Holly, I don’t even have a garage! Wow, maybe I could get a hologram.
Another creative mural, especially as it wraps around the fence. Those feathers have a great 3-d look to them. Hi my friend!
Hello Mary!!!
It’s always great to see you! I think those feathers took a long time to paint. It seems like a Zen experience. ❤
Sometimes garage doors have the best art! Hope you’re having a good start to the holiday season 🙂 xoxo
I baked 11 pies in 3 days. 😀 Yes, off to a fab start! Hope all is well in SP! xoxo Hey, just switch to Qe! I’m sure you’ll love it much more than 9BL (as I do)
this is so beautiful, cheerful and colorful!!!
Thank you! It’s not exactly holiday colors, but I love them!
You’re right, the bird watches you closely …
Fortunately he seems a good boy, beautiful!!
He has an eye similar to Drake, the eye that always watches. ❤
These days, with a small baby duck in the nest, it is necessary to have an eye like Drake’s … there are so many nice and appetizing things to exercise the beak 🙂
Like the colors and artistry. Seen something similar in Delhi, will put up a post soon.
Love to see what you found!!! I’ll go check, in case it’s up!
Reblogged this on Die Erste Eslarner Zeitung – Aus und über Eslarn, sowie die bayerisch-tschechische Region!.
Wow! Wonderful bright! I also love the mexican style! Thank you for your efforts on sharing this art to all of us.
You are very welcome! Joy is easy to spread! At least I’m checking to see what I missed over the festive season. It was a hectic and good time.
Wow! How stunning! How wonderful!
Agree! It’s a beauty!
The colors! Just cannot take my eyes off this beautiful bird.
I’m with you! It really is a beauty, and those feathers must have been a Zen exercise to paint.
Exactly 🙂
