Here Comes the Art King

He looks like a king wearing a crown.

Art King #1

Yet, he’s just 1 of 3 heads on a pillar. The undersides of the trusses are also painted & I was trying to capture some of that.

Art King #2

There were birds, too! Heads, birds and under painting.

Art King #18

Overwhelming, but fabulous! Each post could be a post.

All sides are painted. Across the top is a flow of humanity. Sometimes it swims freely, sometimes the masses get tangled up.

Art King #3

Art King #9

Lots of humanity!

Color on the Wind

When I first laid eyes on this mural, Brenda Davis Harsham came into my mind. Brenda has written a beautiful poem to go with shots I took of it. I am totally honored. Thank you Brenda!

Brenda Davis Harsham's avatarFriendly Fairy Tales

Fairyland Mural painted on a brick wall with willow trees framing a unicorn, fairies, mushrooms, an owl and flowers Used with Permission of Resa Swork

Fairyland is carpeted with flowers,
driftwood sculptures, cairns and shells.
The shyest creatures remain hidden
except for the lilting tinkle of bells.

Welcome to Underpass Park

Me and a bunch of pals are holding up the parkway!.

UPPArms #0

We’re part of the first 5 trusses as you enter. The rest of the paintings aren’t helping at all. They are just sitting pretty.

UPPArms #4

You can see them later, skater! Our close-ups are first.
