I set out to find 4 murals I’d heard rumored.
I had to pass on #1, as I was running late due to DST! I found #2, but this is not it.
I found the blue cat, and I also found a trove of street and alley art on my way to 3 & 4.
The moment I saw the blue cat, I though Georgiann will love it! However, I found so much art, my battery had died when I arrived at 3 & 4.

Along the Liberty Village trail, they are painting all of the old silos and hoppers.
This is a painted hopper.
It is beside a leather company, but I prefer to think “pleather”.
Very interesting faces!

I went to a unique area of the city to get this fab Reggae mural.
When I found it, it was in a parking lot filled with cars. Yay, reflections!
I only knew basic history of Haile Selassie. However, if you are interested, as I was you can read the BBC article: Rastafrian Beliefs Regarding Haile Selassie
Moving on, it looks like Bob Marley leading into Haile Selassie …

I heard about a cat painting on an electric box.
After walking for an hour with no luck, it was right in front of me. It wasn’t on a box, it was on a silo!
I fell in love, and knew it would be for Emmie, even though Emmie looks completely different.
Emmie (Emily) is Georgiann’s Cat
The silo is round, and I wondered what the cat was looking at.
AHA! A robin!
I even lucked out with an art shot when the sun came out for 30 seconds.

There was this crazy ugly egg on Queen W. It somehow advertised a condo.
The art supply store is right beside the egg.
I bumped into Birdo in the store. He was buying spray paint, and told me he was painting the egg.
I grabbed a couple of pics, then decided to come back when it was completed.
Looks like the egg is hatching!

I’ve got animal skulls.
I’ve got shiny metallic skulls.
I’ve got Yorick’s skull.
I’ve got a skull that eats skateboards.
And, for all you art freaks, here’s an arty skull.
Your skulls make me gag! Phooey on you and your skulls! You will never get mine. I sneeze on you!
