Starting with the eyes would be more logical, but I love these lips.
Found her in an alley in Kensington Market.
Was all giddy and happy when I did.
Amazing how a pretty piece of wall art can make my day.
Fortunately, the tagger didn’t annihilate the beauty.

You can see how beautiful this painting is.
Yes, that’s a heat lamp obstructing a full on shot.
Turns out this bird is under a makeshift …. car port, thing. I figure with the heat lamp, they bring out a table and chairs.
There was no sign saying I couldn’t enter the space, so I just took my pics.

I just had to go to Graffiti Alley yesterday. I was wondering if any of the artists were showing their support for Ukraine with their art. I found this by nick_sweetman
Nick says on his Instagram account:
“We chose the colours of the Ukranian flag and wrote “Putin idy nakhuy” which in Ukranian means “Putin, go fuck yourself” sung by Ukraine’s national animal, the nightingale. Letters by @mr_tensoe2 @twice.born and @workingspy3000 who also painted the white dove of peace 🕊”

Graffiti Alley is a large network of lanes and alleys. I continued on my way.
…and found this painted paste-up, which was obviously purposely wrinkled up in the gluing.

I found a Great Blue Heron, on a garage door.
It’s one of the pterodactyl’s relatives, a great blue heron. The great blue heron is the largest heron in North America.
I’ve never seen one in real life.
However, I have seen many on Tim’s blog. Check out Tim’s night shot of one of these Blue Beauties wading in water.

This sweet squirrel was at the top of an alley branching off another alley.
What side of the fence is he/she on?
Anyway, it made the alley look promising.
NOT! 
The alley deteriorated into trash and throw ups on all the garage doors.
However I found a face I like. Looks like it’s been there a quite few years.

Used to be there were lots of rat and skull art in the alleys.
They have gone out of style. Recently skulls are popping up here and there.
I found my first rat in Graffiti Gallery in Winnipeg, when my niece Sherrie was driving me around muralling.
It was near Hallowe’en. The rat was on a pumpkin. I vowed to dedicate all rat posts to her.
Thrilled, I sent her a pic of this rat, immediately! Her hubs said Possum.
I dedicate this post to Sherrie, just in case it’s a rat!
