    1. It is a fitting tribute! Lest we forget…. yet we do.
This is why war endures. Grief endured & lessons learned by one generation oft seem lost on the next, then completely unknown by the the generation after.
Of course $ has a lot to do with what we are taught to remember or not.
Then there are cultures that have only ever known strife and war. Some from there care naught for a good life for all humanity, but only for their own kind.
Giants proposing peace and love such as Gandhi & John Lennon are assassinated.
The chain is as strong as the weakest link. We are a world that is as peaceful and loving as the most hating and warlike.
We must each teach the better way within our small lives, as hope may not be enough.
Much love and peace to you, friend!

  1. Yesterday, 11th hour of 11/11, I was in a department store. It was lovely to see all standing still for the remembrance. Lest we forget, indeed.
    What a gracious tribute, Resa..

    1. I can’t forget. Sick as war is, it seems most of those who served and died were not those who started or perpetuated the wars.
My stomach churns and my heart bleeds.
