This mural is on the side of a house by a park on Bathurst.

He seems a bit sad, but still magic.

It’s a very interesting piece.

Resa, I am really moved by the beautifully alluring colors and the image as a whole. You always bring me to smile!
TY, Wendell! It is a fun & colorful piece. 🙂
Wow, Resa, this is beautiful. Wonderful artwork. Thanks so much.
Your welcome! I was blown away when I found it. Then I found another work & another. I just never know what to post next, but I sure love all this art!
Great documentation of a great piece. Love the bees especially – my faves.
I wanted to open with the bee, but the Magic Man was a more honest start! 🙂
True. I just love bees. 😉
I would to do love another post on graf you have shot. NO pressure, just saying! 🙂 xo
I will start pulling a few together from my San Francisco trip last summer. 🙂
Ooo! 😀
Might take me a few weeks but I have soooo many flicks! I have to get them out there!
Yes, as you say, Resa, he is a bit sad, yet magical. I love his jacket; very suave! It would be lovely if we could see inside the artist(s) minds, at the time, to understand the ‘behind’ meaning. The bee is super sweet. 😀
xoxoxo
We have to help the bees somehow. 🙂 I know what you mean about seeing what the artist is thinking. Perhaps the mystery is as exciting as our personal interpretations. 🙂 xxx ooo
Once again another amazing artist – the creativity is everywhere in this mural. Wonderful find!
I’m almost drunken with art! LOL! I’ve always enjoyed art, but all this street art has opened my eyes anew, to all art.
Wow I love the colors and how they blend so well with the bricks. You certainly have an eye for wonderful subjects. 😄💜
TY! It is my fortune that there are a lot of artists in an open minded city like Toronto! 🙂
There is loads going on in this mural, I love it. I always wonder what the story is behind the characters, are they representatives of some thoughts or real people? Both are equally enticing to explore.
This mural really does lead me to wonder… who is that? Especially, the sad magic man in the middle looks like he could be someone I don’t know about, but exists(ed) They say artists draw themselves a lot. Perhaps he is an inner picture of the artist.
I thought the big blueish/grey head on the left was an older Wallace Beery. LOL! Hey…. who knows? Another person looking at the mural thought it was Hitler.
Blimey, you’d have to have question that person lol. The mystery is just one of the many fascinating facet of murals, it makes them more than just visual.
