2. As a child, I had a small glass aquarium (the simple type without a frame, Just like a box-shaped jar) and we took some plants and animals from a nearby pond. We also hat these beetles (in German they are called “Gelbrandkäfer” which means “Yellow rim beetle) but I think it is called great diving beetle). We also had newts and tadpoles as well as some other species of insects living in the water, snails, small crustaceans and some worms. This picture brings up vivid childhood memories 🙂
