It was a lovely honour to be the focus of a Mini-Interview on Yvette’s Priorhouse blog.
I sent this to Yvette, so she could see the image I was using to say Thank You to her.
Resa – That image is like me & many …blogging, trying to keep up.
Yvette – That really could apply to blogging, and keeping up during a busy season.
Yvette – I also think it could apply to life – and just enduring a challenging season. There is a certain contentment I feel in that art – with a certain suffering or enduring and I think in another way there might be a hint of performance burnout – ?
Resa – I also think it can apply to life.
Yvette – Especially when you see the full photo – or is that part of the contentment feel- the balancing on one arm and the placement of that other arm is a bit athletic, sure, strong, poised, and in motion – and that adds to it.
Yvette – Oh and the other elements/principles in that photo street art – we have the soft blue going across the body into the green – giving us this horizontal split that syncs with the body – other line designs stand out – like the hair being in sync with the background and other line design.
Yvette – And you know, the legs stood out on the third look – that is a strong pose – to be sideways – are those “eagle” legs? either way – that is why this feels strong and poised and enduring –
Resa – Thank you, Yvette! What a wonderful interpretation of this piece of art.

It is an honour to be reviewed by Debby, an excellent Memoir Writer. I was thrilled to pieces when I found out she was reading my book.

Also wrote a wonderful review. Ada is a professional book reviewer, so I am way more than a bit appreciative. Ada and I got to know each other when she became a fan of my street art blog.

Ada has written 2 books. I have not read either, as I don’t have a kindle. They both look intriguing.
I know she’ll be uber busy in the upcoming future, as she is starting a new position in the world of writing book reviews.
Still, she has promised to hang out from time to time with us here on WP. I think she likes us.

Dan Antion has a weekly Doors Challenge that is very popular. However, as a busy person I’m thrilled he has an Annual Doors Challenge. This was my second year participating, and it was more fun that the first year.

Here’s the one I did!
Years ago I wrote a book. That was fun. Promoting and selling it; a big scary, hairy monster with horns. Eventually, it wound up in the menu on my blog, for free download. Robbie found it, read it and has now reviewed it!
Robbie also found it on amazon. I did tweak the ending after that, which is in the download. Is one version better? I don’t know. Anyway, if you click on the book cover, it will take you to the free download page.
She also said lovely things about my other creative endeavours – Art Gowns drawing & collecting Street Art.

Yes, I was a bit squirrelly at first, and think I sound like a chipmunk. However, Don her in residence Sound Man/Audio Engineer did a great job at making it all sound fab. Thank you, Don!
In the end I couldn’t be stopped. I sang like a bird.
