I fell for its simplicity.
The style
The message
The effect
Even in a neighbourhood where street art is uncommon,
I look up every alley.

The Artist:
It’s an old Billy Idol song.
His message is clear, yet living in an bohemian arts community at the time,
I thought “face without eyes” was more it.
Some died. Some just faded away.

Most is behind garbage can, but it is LUVSUMONE aka Moises Frank
Yes, I actually just went into someone’s yard and took these. I saw it from the street and couldn’t control myself.
I think this is a Portuguese Rooster.
We have lots of variations of these roosters in Toronto, and they are all gorgeous.
The background looks like a vintage dinner plate design.
This stencil art is on a garage door.
This is my 1499th post. I hope you’ll all join me on Sunday, when GLAM presents its 1500th Go-Go Gala.

Found this parrot a couple of years ago.
Crazy how much street art I have that I’ve never posted.
I keep finding new art, and forget what I have.

The Artist: Unknown at this time. I should have looked behind the little tree.
Anser can draw a face without taking his spray off the garage door, and without taking his finger off the aerosol actuator.
It was a swiftly drifting big clouds, little clouds, dark clouds, pale clouds and sunny day.
This must be the reason the garage doors came out off-white to dark beige.
Anser’s faces were some of the original street I ever found.
They were everywhere.
I don’t see them around much, anymore.

I found this on my way to an appointment that I was already late for, because I found more art before this.
Chances of rescheduling the appointment – 100%
Chances of being in this spot again within the next year – almost nil.
Still, I shot when the sun came out briefly, instead of waiting for the cloud cover.
I love this, because the woman appears not young, nor old. Yet, she has gray(ing) hair. There is a lot to be said for embracing our natural selves.
