Shey Wolf

SHEY told me she loves wolves. I told her I had one for her!

It’s a beauty… where else? On a power box!

I hope you like it, Shey!

There’s a face on the other side. It sits in a dark grey shadow, clouds or shine.

I had to enhance it, like crazy!

Anyway, It’s all about the wolf, and Shey!

    1. Lol! Wolf Woman; it sounds like a new Super Hero.

So, I’m painting in the J&S drawing tonight! I’m going all representational meaning with it. Although we might be the only ones who get it!
      xo🐭🐭ox

                1. There were wolves kept here at Camperdown Park ‘zoo’. Epic ones. Beloved of Dundee actually and they put them down after thier leader took ill and had to be putdwon during surgery. There were fears that they would start attcking eachother having dispalyed not very nice behaviour. Awful to hear of. They might have been better n the wilds.

                    1. Sorry…forgot to hit send!
I added a question after the drawing. It was a thought I had while I was out today. So, the drawing and question are coming together.
                      I JUST SENT IT!!!!
                      LOL. xoxoxo

                    2. I saw the wolf shirt. (I do think Loki that wolf was sending me vibes for saying I do feel they should have been in their own environment. And also for saying to my oldest grandie when I showed him the wolves once and he asked why they were staring and staring, ‘They are saying, ‘Look at these humans stuck behind these bars.’ A lot of folks were stunned re what they did with the wolves.

        1. Ahh, wow!
I had my cataracts done a few years ago.
What a shock it was to see full colour again.
I didn’t realize how sepia toned my sight had become. It happens so slowly.
Well, it did for me, and I had early onset.
You will love it! It’s the most fast, painless and rewarding medical thing I ever experienced.
          Your painting will explode.
          Have a great week, Eunice!

      1. It is possible that in the late ’90s I twice saw one from a very non-safe distance… I had always wondered and when I recently Googled “wolf sightings in NH” there are dozens of them and all within a two year period of my encounters.

  1. Wow this really is a mystical Wolf/Woman (I love how it’s a 3D mural on all 4 sides of the utilities cabinet).Wolves have always been associated with magic and spirits – and yes even in the Disney Star Wars animation called “Rebels” there are some wolf creatures that can use the magic Force – but these Loth-Wolves as they are called are massive, measuring 2m high just to their shoulders!
Another great find and nice work on the photo-editing.

    1. Most boxes are painted on all sides, but not all.
Of course Disney has used the wolf. I should have known.
They are magic, until a trophy hunter kills one.
Then it’s just plain odious & dreadful.
I recently saw an upsetting report about a wolf.

      Anyway, yes, magic!
      Thank you re: the photos!
“TROOPER TANO” SABER is fab. I’ll be by again later, or tomorrow!

      1. Hi, Disney have gained a reputation for “borrowing”…I mean being inspired by, folklore and other works that feature what they want and putting that material into their media..
And I don’t have wolf pictures but I do have some photos of their Antarctic cousins that I met on my trip coming soon so stay tuned…they’re cute.
Glad you liked “Trooper Tano”, thanks.

What a beautiful kiosk. Lovely wolf and woman. I just got a wolf jersey for cycling that matches my wolf guitar. It’s all about the wolf. And Shey.

        1. It’s a howl!
Yes, thank you for sending the link.
So many fab posts go by, I forget what happened, even on my blog.
          I’m watching and listening now.
The wolves are Gorgeous. Mosby is splendid!!!
The music is so cool w/ the wolves.
The guitar is a stunner. I hope you play it lots! xx

                1. Yeah!
                  I’m stoked for the post!
                  OH
                  I’ve got the gown packaged.
                  I’ll write C today.
It’s at the point where I finish filling the box with peanuts, or cut it down 2 inches, and save $50.00.
The post office is much better rate than UPS.
Will write as soon as I have the final details!
                  xo

Lots of guitar and drums. Blue likes the end, also because she can hear the higher pitch of the guitar better. She can also hear the drums. “Blue hears? I thought snakes were deaf?” you might be thinking. Snakes do have ears and do hear, but differently from us.

    1. It’s wild in the streets, John!
No doubt about it, I need a pith helmet!
      🐂🐂🐂🐂
(better not use any wolf emojis here…. I mean with the OXen, it could get ugly)

    1. Now that’s a new one in comments! A shape shifter wolf; you have a fab imagination Robbie!
      I should try drawing animals.
You do wonderful animals. Was it a rhino I saw?
      Anyway, you are massively talented!

      1. Hi Resa, your comment is greatly appreciated. Drawing is very soothing for me. You saw a hippo. I am writing about, and drawing, the less well known animals. Giraffes and hippos are first and then warthogs and hyenas.

    1. Ahhrrroooooo!
      My best wolf cry.
      Well, my only wolf cry.
      Yay!
It is a great and beautiful wolf, just like you.
      Sinatra had the Rat Pack.
      You have the Wolf Pack!
      Ahhhrrrooooooo!
      xoxoxoxoxo

      1. Loving me the wolf pack. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx once again. I get my kill with my youngest grandie who is at the stage of animal noises. Naturally he can tell you what the wolf says–forget this dog and cow stuff. He howls beautifully too.

    1. Thanks Dave! It all came together so easily. Shey said she loved wolves. I found a wolf. Thusly, Shey Wolf was born.
It’s so much fun having fun!

    1. For sure wolves are not colourful creatures, yet the artist has capture this wolf’s beauty perfectly in this modern/graffiti art style.
All of the arts are so wonderful.
      💙🐺🧡💜❤️💗

        1. It’s one of my joys… a get away from the grind … to walk around and find art in the streets and alleys.
Thank you, Lauren! You rock! ❤️🩷💙🩵💜

  3. The mystical wolf – nicely rendered. I knew a man who had a dog who was half wolf. He adored that animal but could never have him in the house. Supposedly wolves can not be domesticated at all.

  4. Beautiful colorful wolf, Resa. What a fun find for Shey. Nearly every powerbox in British Columbia had art brightening it up. Instead of ugly metal boxes, they made me want to stop and admire them.
