The day was a washout. I’d been all the way to Kensington Market, and only captured a raccoon …… on my camera.
Almost home, I espied an “Anser” bit on a garage door, so got off the streetcar. I walked down a lane off that alley, then turned into another alley and Voilà!
What luck!
As fortune wold have it, there was a clean shiny black car parked there.
Because of the brick, the reflection of the painting took on a “Tapestry” look.

The artist:

Oddly, this wonderful piece reminds me of the beginning of time. Superb. Regards, TOF
I can see that, TOF! Great take!
That fine mural reminds me very strong of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Stay safe, dear Resa!
Yes… I can see why. Great take on the art, Martha. Thank you and you stay safe, too!
Another fascinating mural, Resa! They are so compelling. Thank you for sharing!
It seems the more off the beaten path, the more interesting the art. I’m thrilled to have this work in my collection, Merril.
Great find! Simple yet complex. I like the way the artist didn’t use from edge to edge …. and the wavy border, which helps catch the eye.
Agree! The image floats on a yellow cloud. Yes, eye catching for sure. Thanks, Frank! Clink!
Such an interesting mural! It took me some time to sort out the limbs! I love the yellow blotch and the plasticity of the figures. Excellent find, dahling! ❤️😘😘😘😘😘❤️
The reflection is perfect! Bravo, dahling! 👌
Thank you…dahling! xoxoxo
😘🤗😘🤗😘🤗
It was truly a “find”. It’s in the alleys, where few people go that I find the best art. It’s where artists paint what they want, 100%.
💖😘😘💖💖😘😘💖💖😘😘💖
That makes it even more precious!
💗🌷💗
…and there’s someone next to me who wishes to send something:

Totally delightful Resa
Yes… delightful! Perfect description… Thank you, Eddie! {{hugs}}
Big hugs back to ya! Resa
a lovely fireball capture
Thanks Beth! …. but the heat… the sheer heat of the fireball as I went in for the shots.
There was no time to go home and grab my asbestos street art work wear. I’m lucky to be alive! 🤕 😶🌫️
Very interesting mural. I love the reflection on the car!
It’s a neat mural, and the car being black, clean and shiny made my day. Lol, I was just as excited to see the car, as I was to see the mural.
The worst…. a dirty white car.
That’s a wonderful mural. I really like the reflections off the car.
Ness Lee has a unique style, and always seems to do these Rubenesque women. The reflections are great. Thank goodness the car was clean. It makes a huge difference.
Thanks Tim! xx
I have a terrible time keeping my car clean.
I’m sure that’s because of where you live. Just don’t park near art! 😸😽
Great find, Resa! And the photos of the art reflected on the car are quite striking!
I adore the Rubenesque women. Hooray for clean cars, preferably black. Mid tone metallic grey can produce neat results.
Other colours……. meh. 🫤
My car (a 2014 Prius) is black. Clean? Well, sort of. 🙂
Lol! At least it’s black. 🙂
🙂
Thank goodness for clean shiny black cars.
I couldn’t agree more, Jan!
Good luck indeed. This is a fabulous piece and the tapestry on the car is beautiful. So very, very, cool. Congrats on a terrific find.
Thanks Gi!
Finding wall art in remote alleys and
where-nots is an odd joy that I revel in.
Crazy! xoxo
I don’t blame you. It’s so exciting. Like Christmas snd your birthday all at once.
Yes!!! 🥳🤗
😍
Hi Resa, I really love these colours. Yellow is a favourite of mine. The texture of the paint onto the brick is very interesting.
I like yellow, too. It’s not a fave of mine, but holds a special place.
The brick helped make the fab tapestry like reflections.
Welcome back!
It is nice to be home. Yellow, orange and pink are my favourite colours. I like bright and happy colours.
That makes sense. Your fondant characters and kids stories are bright and happy.
Thank you, Resa, that is my aim.
Resa, this is beautiful wall art! Such a unique find, I love tapestries, I would hang this on my wall! 🐭🐭
It is unique. I was head over heals to find it…AND with a clean black car there!
I’d hang it on my wall, too!
x🐭🐭o
Meece, I sent an SC catch up email. The band jammed last night. A Boogapony came out of me.
A Boogapony? Yay!! Running over. Had a great time jamming I’m sure! 🐭🎶🐭
Love the reflection, this really a beautiful piece.
I think it’s gorgeous, too!
Reflections are a wonderful thing…usually!
Agree you caught this one when the day was lovely.
Hooray! At last a car parked in the right (wrong) place actually helped you! I really like these pics and mural (I’m reminded of the star sign Gemini because of the possible twins connection).
And I think you may be Force Sensitive, you seemed to “sense” that this mural was in the alley rather than seeing it there. Now go have a nice (well earned) iced cup of tea or coffee!
I know! Sometimes a clean dark car in the right spot can pay off!
Gemini is a perfect thought, Tyeth.
I find a lot of art through “Force Sensitivity”.
I am having a hot coffee.
Can’t help it!
Beautiful photos, Resa. The art was good but your angles were the best. OX
Thank you dear John! 🐂
😁X
I love Ness Lee’s spunk. Thanks for sharing.
My pleasure!
A great find, Resa. Your shot of the car and reflection is spectacular! You have such an amazing creative eye. Hugs.
Thanks Teagan…re: my creative eye.
I love art in car reflections. Of course the car has to be dark & clean. Hugs!
At this point you might be able to do dust sculptures on my car! LOL
Ah… sounds good! I’ll bring my scalpel! 🙃
You turn a washout into an amazing adventure, Resa!!!
I think the art calls to me….somehow. I just go there. Hugs!
I believe that to be true, Resa!
Very cool tapestry look in the reflection! I think “Two Women on a Wall” would make a great title for a novel.
Love the reflection!
It does sound like a good title. What would it be about?
Hmm, what would it be about? I think it would be a metafictional kind of thing with two unreliable narrators sitting on a wall telling the story and both getting it wrong.
That sounds cool.
At first I misread… I thought it was – metaLfictional.
Something to do with heavy metal or death metal, & getting so stoned, the 2 women got plastered to a wall.
Of course they would need some tattoos.
Ha ha! (I don’t do heavy metal. 😉 )
I like it on the rare occasion. 😉 )
Are you sure that’s two women? I think it’s three women.
I think it’s 2. BTW, now that you’re here…I see a strong resemblance between the art and your looks.
Beautiful artwork… and wow to the reflections you caught too Resa… Your Day was rewarded.. ❤ 🙂 xx
Thank you, Sue! Yes, my day was rewarded. Happiness! ❤ 🙂 xx
Wonderful ❤
The painting reminds me of a mandala. And I love the reflections on the car. That was pure luck. A great find, Resa.
Okay.. I can see the mandala effect. Cool take.
Yes, the reflections were luck. Usually the cars are filthy, so no reflections. Lol!
;-D
Beautiful mural, Resa, and you were lucky with that black shiny car, love the bonus of the reflection. 🧡💛
Thanks Lauren! Yes, someone washed their car, and I cashed in! xoxo
Another spectacular find Res. And the black shiny car was a beauty bonus! The art is so suggestive. I’m getting and Adam and Eve -ish, creation vibe from it, lol. Hugs xoxo 🙂
Adam and Eve -ish…. Interesting. Someone else got the beginning of time.
It does feel something like that.
I was so enthralled by the fact that the car was clean, I got a bit side tracked from any art message. Hugs xoxo 🙂🙂
Lol, I can see how. 🙂 xxx
The reflection on the car combines with the brick wall for a new artform!! 3D and fabulous 💗
love this.. perfect feeling of being with my prego girls.. ❤️❤️
LOL!!! Great interpretation, Cindy! ❤️❤️
