Good Afternoon, Agent 00 toon!
We have a situation in the alleys. Bugs has been sent in undercover.
He’s discovered a lot of dissent amongst the cartoon world. Seems you’ve been playing faves, with Looney Tunes. Other cartoon franchises have become agitated.
Rover Dangerfield feels he has no respect. Perhaps he should have a chat with Wile E. Coyote? He gets no respect, and he’s a Looney Tune!
The other cartoons feel like they’re being driven off a cliff. Again, they should speak with Wile E. Being driven off a cliff is all in a days work.
Still, protest and defiance grows. Darkwing Duck is demanding “more paint” to paint more Disney Characters!
Me, I’m hiding out in a crazy black and white mural.
I’m not pink, so no one will spot me, and I’ve got a great vantage point.
Oh No! Boris Badenov is about to throw a fusion bomb!!! All animals and humans will be fused with cartoons. No one will be spared if they enter the alley!
Anyone with half a brain is fleeing.
I repeat; half a brain!!!!
IT’S TOO LATE!
Poor guys never stood a chance! Agent 00 toon, I trust you’ll take care of this situation?!
Your mission is to restore order to the lanes & alleys!

Love this whimsy with a bit of realism, you’ve swept up us into this art and now we are a part of it. Wonderful dear Meece ❤️
Yes, whimsy! I like that. It’s crazy how many artists paint cartoons in the alleys.
Gotta do something with all those pics!
It’s such fun. We need that. xoxoxo
Oh dear Holly, I was so worried when you were off line due the hurricane. I’m so happy you are here and okay! xoxoxo
It’s a strange feeling being cut off like that. I’ve been so lucky with this horrendous storm. My heart is broken for so many hard hit. Thank you sweet gf. xoxoxo
Florida has a lot of recovering and healing to do!
My heart goes out!
What a special and creative post, Resa. You have outdone yourself. Thank you so much for the dedication.
Thanks John! It was a lot of fun.
I adore your Saturday prompts. Hope you can get rid of Yosemite Sam and that dag nabbed safe! ox ox ox
Gotta figure out a way to get rid of both varmits
Hope you haven’t painted yourself into a blog corner! I have a feeling Sam is perfectly happy in his safe, in your yard.
Perhaps the Tasmanian Devil could eat the safe? ox ox ox
I’ve been talking to a guy at the ACME explosives company and he’s sending over an engineer to see what can be done. We’ll see Saturday
Oh gawd, ACME products backfire a lot.
Perhaps if Wile E. was in charge of detonation? ox
It could be that Wile E. is the engineer.
OH…!!!.. You’ve got to be kidding?! 🐂🤣🐂
Ha ha ha. 🙄😁
Here’s goat for good measure. 🐐
Oh, I like goats. I suppose I could squeeze one into the yard, with the 4🐂en. Hmmm, will it eat my pot plants, tomatoes, etc.? xo
If it has the same food as the 🐂en it will not eat your plants. You could toss out a couple of old shoes (leather) too.
Oh no! The ox is now in 1st place, sponge is #2 and kiss is #3!
hmphf ox ox
Ha ha ha 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂💋🍰
Cake! Are those Marie Antionette 🐂en?
Yes so take care of them. Other wise she will lose her head. 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Marie is like that. 🐂🐂🐂🐂 👈 Marie’s 🐂en
Huh! No cake? ox ox ox ox
The cake was on the one after this. But since you asked. 🎂
My thighs feel larger…. ox ox ox ox
Maybe a run or two. Take an 🐂 with you for company
Thanks…. my ass might be enough to take with me! Why is there no ass emoji? For crying out loud, there’s a pile of poo emoji.
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋 (OX is now #2)
Hmmm. We’ll see. 🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂
OMG! I’ll have to get an ass istant to help me herd the 🐂en through the alleys.
Perhaps I can make a few extra bucks selling manure?
(I refuse to use the poo emoji!)
I’ll take a shovel!
🐃 How about a water buffalo
Oddly, I was considering a water buffalo!
Great minds think alike!
xoxoxoxoxo – Feeling old fashioned today – xoxoxoxoxo
Ha ha ha. XOXOXOXO. Me too.
All right! This settles it. You are my kissy and huggy online bbf! OX OX OX OX
I’ll take the honor. OX OX OX OX 🍷
Woot! I have a glass, and cheers to us!
Just a quick note- It’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. I baked 3 apple pies today…lots going on. I’ll be by soon! XOXOXOXOXO
I can smell those pies from here. 🥧🥧🥧. Happy Thanksgiving
Oh, dahling, what a treat?!!!!!!!! …and I love your presentation!
Oh, and before I forget: justice for Wile E. Coyote!!!!! [sorry, I had to say that! 😉 😂🤣😂🤣]
Crazy brilliant post!!!!!!
Love and hugs and more hugs and
[she’s also a looney tune fan!]
Thank you, dahling, just having some fun!
I get a kick out of John’s Saturday Prompts with the cartoon characters.
I know, poor Wile E. Coyote. He’ll never catch that Roadrunner, no matter how many ACME products he orders! 😉 😂🤣😂🤣
Hope the sponges last until next year!
Still, we can hope!
As for the sponges… i doubt they’ll last!!!!!!
HA!!!!!! I’ll reorder!

Resa McConaghy is a fabulous artist and clothing designer. She is also one with a whip-smart sense of humor. Her Dear John II post is not to be missed. While there take a look at all the other murals and beautiful clothes on display. Thank you so much, Resa. I loved this post and the dedication..
Aww, thank you, John! ox ox ox ox
These are fantastic. I love the Loonies and The Pink Panther. The real Rodney Dangerfield was a riot. RD really cracks me up. So much fun.
Thank you, Tim! These characters are usually small pieces in the alleys, not a whole post on their own. So, it’s fun to use them up, time to time.
Oh yes! Rodney Dangerfield always made me laugh.
Easy Money is my fave movie of his.
I’ve got a big mural coming up. Massive chunk of wall, and it starts with a Holly! Crazy how I keep finding murals that remind me of her.
Looking forward to when you drop the big one Holly is a multi-dimensional wonder. Rodney Dangerfield on Johnny Carson was always good for a lot of laughs.
Every once in a while, I watch RD on Johnny via Youtube. Soooooo funny!
It’s a gorgeous mural. So excited! xo
I wish I could rattle off one liners like RD used to. I’m slow and forget the one liner halfway through. I’m pathetic when it comes to stand-up comedy and remembering jokes.
The Pink Panther music goes perfectly with this tour down memory lane. Although it should be noted…Homer Simpson is still alive and well and has not been sentenced to Only Seen In Reruns World just yet. Resa, thanks for being our “not-so-secret” agent uncovering these. A fun post, especially to start the week out!
Yeah, that’s what I mean. 🤗
Intersting comment about Homer. 🤔
Lol, glad you like the post.
Tee-hee! You made a fabulous story out of these images, Resa. Wonderful mural finds. Thanks for this delight. Hugs on the wing.
Welcome! Cartoon hugs to you!
I LOVE when you have fun and you make a whole story. Great job secret agent, OORESA
Lol! It was fun.
You know, you’re saddled with the dudes. John is saddled with Looney Tunes characters.
My cat bosses me around like crazy.
…. just saying….
Love it and you even more. Unsaddled lives are boring xxxxxx
True, and we are not boring! xxxxxxxxxx
Brilliant post! Such fun, and a perfect dedication for John. Fantastic images too. Thanks for sharing, Resa 💕🙂
Thank you, Harmony
I mostly want to have fun, Harmony, and this blog helps me do just that!
Lol, I also get good exercise walking around finding street art! 💕🙂
Another fantastic collection of characters you have corralled! These take me back to a time when I used to scribble out pictures of Bugs, Daffy and co when I was a kid. I started out with pencil sketches then I progressed to using Berol Magnum permanent markers when I got the hang of each Toon. Think I’ll have to dig my pen and paper out again….🤔
Crazy, but some people grew up and still like drawing cartoons, so they do it in the alleys.
Yeah! Have fun drawing…. without the computer.
I liked drawing The Flintstones when I was a kid!lad you enjoyed the post!
So much fun. I’m amazed there are so many cartoon characters on the walls–and such a variety! (Though I prefer the original murals you find.)
Yes, I’m always amazed by how many artists like to paint cartoons on alley walls. Anyway, it’s great to have a reason to use up some of my vast collection.
NOW, the next post is an original mural, and it’s massive. It is stunning, gorgeous and magnificent.
I was beside myself when I found it in an alley about 1.5 miles from me.
I can’t wait!🙂
Resa, a delightful juxtaposition of great images and hilarious words! A real treat to see. 🙂
It’s great to just have fun sometimes. These cartoons remind. 🙃
A wonderful post!
Thank you! I had lots of fun making it.
This is a fun and wonderful post. Dedicated to one of my favorite authors and filled with friends from my childhood who have held my affection for over 60 years. I could wander in this alley all day.
Yes, it is a lot of fun. I adore these toons.
John woke up my memories and laughs, with his Saturday Prompt posts.
I have wandered these alleys, and others, for 10 years.
Outstanding!!!! Love all of them. So much fun.
IKR! Lots of fun here, Gi! xoxo
There’s a thing about Canada on my blog, for you and Dale. Loved the street art.
Thanks Eunice! Lotsa fun making this post!
I am glad you love blogging about your adventures xo
Thank you, Eunice! xoxo
That was so fun, Resa. You created a wild art-story. I’m a big fan of Wile E and the Roadrunner. I watched those cartoons as a kid, then with my daughter, and then with my grandson! Three generations of ACME explosions and falling off cliffs. 🙂
Love the way Wile E. keeps on trying, never gives up.
It was lots of fun making this post!
Hoping for 4 generations of ACME explosions and falling off cliffs…. of course then a boulder has to fall on top of Wile E. once he’s hit bottom. lolol
Ha! So right. Or the gian’t sling shots that send him into a rock face. The poor guy can’t win.
This was such a fun post!! I have a big, goofy grin plastered all over my face. Thank you!!
Yay! Yes, sometimes we just need to have some fun!
Isn’t that the truth!
Oh Sorceress! You are absolutely, fantabulously, immensely creative and brilliant! This was so much fun… Who better to dedicate it to than John? So good.
So glad you got a laugh. That’s what it’s all about! xoxoxo
Oh, I did! It is, for sure.
Oh wow Res, what a clever post. Loved the story you created from those amazing murals. Some of the names were hilarious – Rover Dangerfield. And who could forget Boris. Hey, where’s Natasha? LOL. A great compilation of some of the classics we grew up with. Hugs ❤ xxx
It was time for some fun. It’s interesting how many cartoons I find in the alleys. I have to think these cartoons have lasted the test of time. Artists are still drawing them.
I wish I did find a Natasha!
Lol, you do find the goodies! Loved it! Hugs ❤ xxx
I had to re-read while listening to Pink Panther, just waiting for Peter Sellers…. What a clever girl you are Resa!
Aww, thanks Cindy! It was a lot of fun making this post! We all need a good laugh sometimes!
Hi Resa, hat off to you, this post is hilarious and clever.
Thank you Roberta! I like hilarious.
❤️👍💯 All the best kind of graffiti
Lol! Thanks M!!!!!
Great post! Love the toons and cool that Pink Panther made so many appearances. Some of that street art is pretty wild…
It’s amazing how popular these old cartoons still are. Yes, some of the new street art is crazy wild.
The other animation I see in the alleys is anime.
Wow, Resa, this is SO much fun and love those murals, some definitely on the wild side. You took me back a few years with these classic cartoons and the dedication to John is most deserving. Awesome!!! 😘💞
I didn’t take pics of cartoons on my street art walks, as a rule. Then I started reading John’s Saturday Prompt pieces, and the cartoons of my life came flooding back.
Now I grab the cartoons when I see them.
Good for a funny post every now and then!
We’re glad you do, Resa! 🧡🍁😁
Chaos in Cartoonland! What a fun way to start my day! Thanks!
Welcome! Yeah! It was one fun post to make!
That is one funky trip you took us all on, Resa. And Pink Panther, that’s my jam. 🙂
Thank you, Marc!
I’m allover the place with blogging.
Higgledy Piggledy comes to mind.
Me and you both lovely!
Hi Resa, what a cool collection of cartoon street art! Love that first Pink Panther rendition – the way he’s melting! Love Wile E Coyote, too (is it wrong for me to think when I watched him as a kid I sometimes wanted him to win against that pesky roadrunner??)
Thanks for the share 😎
Welcome! What a hoot doing this post was!
Glad you got to see it.
I wanted Wile E. to win sometimes too. I suppose the beauty is, he never does~
