Here’s another painted truss from Underpass Park.

The fact that it’s B & W highlights the effect of the sun from different positions in the underpass.

This one is painted on all 4 sides.

Even the underside is painted.

The Artist:
Oh wow! THAT is fabulous!!! I just love it. The clean lines, the stark contrast, the beauty of it. It’s wonderful.
I’m with you on those thoughts! 😀
Not my fav, but love the way the artist used the area … and that’s one heck of a big bowl of spaghetti.
LOL! It’s Rapunzel hair, I think!
Really? Never would have thunk it.
Well, art is interpretive. One really never knows what the artists message is with stylized and abstract art, unless they ask the artist. Even then, the answer could be; What does it mean to you? I checked out her site, and all of her works are in this b&w style.
That settles it … It’s definitely spaghetti!
LOL!!!
Beautiful paint!
Agree!!!
Thanks!
What a fun kiddies area, otherwise a very dark drab space, I’m sure.
I’m so pleased you gave us the ‘wider’ view, Resa.. I doubt I could have seen it as favourably without the entire scene, as such…
The faces are somewhat sombre, yet with a tenderness and caring quality… The longer one looks, the more intricate the energy.. 🙂
xoxoxo
The kiddies park part is lots of fun. There were a lot of kiddies and parents there. The kids were having a blast. There are various playground equipment, and they even put some kind of a short astro-turf down with some kind of rubber underneath so kids won’t run and fall on cement. There was no where to take your kids in that area, now there is. I’m quite happy about how Toronto is reclaiming dingy urban areas, and turning them into usable parks and gardens. 😀 xoxoxo
Well done Toronto! 😀
At the risk of ruining my high brow reputation I do so love nudes. 🙂 and I agree Rapunzel hair.
Your high brow rep would be ruined if you didn’t like nudes. We are talking art here! This is no ordinary house of ill repute. 😀 I love Rapunzel hair. My sister had hair that swept the floor. I was a tad envious. 😀
Reblogged this on Die Erste Eslarner Zeitung – Aus und über Eslarn, sowie die bayerisch-tschechische Region!.
Thank you!
Her style is definitely unique. Love it!
Me too! Hope you’re having fun in the UK! ❤
Strong and silent women. I am dizzy looking up at all that tresses!
LOL! I’m dizzy, too! 😀
1) I like that she’s not stick thin
2) Black and white simplicity rather than overwhelming colour
3) Apples – Perhaps a nod to Garden of Eden?
4) I do wish she was smiling…
5) Love you, Resa!
