A Big Beautiful Bouquet

I send these flowers out to Carolee Croft.

She has done me the honor of reviewing “Nine Black Lives”, which I wrote several years ago.

She called it “glamorous” & we all know how I love glamour. I find it everywhere, even in alleys.

I went wild and used up the rest of my camera’s battery when I saw these.

Chris Perez has covered 2 sides of what I would call a very large shack. He’s turned a vicious eyesore, into a thing of beauty with his abstract floral painting.

    1. That’s the beauty of so many artists painting in the streets. One never knows what is on the next building. Now I have to go back to that area to capture the murals I didn’t get due to all of the street art I did shoot! LOL! It was a rich in art area.

  1. Carolee Croft

Thank you so much for the flowers, Resa! I like the watery or somewhat blurry look of the flowers. They all look harmonious together despite so many different colors.
I love glamour too, which is one of many reasons I enjoyed your novel. xoxoxo

    1. Dear Carolee,
I’m very happy you like the flowers.
It’s all … watery under the petals… a burst of summer, on a perfect dew-drenched morn. A glamorous beginning to a new day! xoxoxo

      1. TY, Aq! Carolee did a fab review! It sure is a gorgeous floral graffiti! Oh, yeah, just as I was about to use up the rest of the battery, I spotted the Chinese Zodiac mural across the street. Going to send the pics, now! Hugs ❤

  2. Wow, Resa, this is so interesting… Floral abstract describes it beautifully. Even though Chris has used so many different colours, they come together so well… my eyes keep wanting to explore. I especially love the second last (small) image; the orangy/red and white has me mesmerised.
I can understand using all your camera’s battery!!! 🙂
    xoxoxo

    1. I only posted a fraction of the shots, but I think this says it. LOL! We don’t have spring flowers here, yet, so this was a true spring treat. I like the one you like too! 😀 xoxoxo

    1. Hmm, peach… peach pie! I had 7 frozen peach pies in the freezer, all made from scratch. We devoured the last one this week. So, I baked an apple pie today…. and a vegetable pie for dinner. 😀 I love pies!

  3. This is a great way to thank Carolee! And your book is a GREAT read, Resa, so it’s nice to see it getting the feedback it deserves 🙂 Lovin’ that real flowers are starting to show around here on the west coast too, by the way!

    1. Aww Thank you, Christy! You are a genuinely supportive person. I can’t remember how I thanked you for your review of “Nine Black Lives”, but I hope I did! I wasn’t so much of a considerate blogger back then. I was more like a protective blogger. However, when you came into my life, I learned the value of sharing out here!
So, you have real flowers where you are! Well, we have painted ones. LOL! Sending love and hugs, dear Christy! xo

  4. Ah, Resa, your page smells Spring! It is blooming! Happy Spring!!! love hugs kisses and…. 🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐🌺🌻🌹🌷🌼🌸💐

    1. Yes, and I can hardly wait for that smell of spring to become a reality. LOL, are some of those flowers from Hera? xoxoxoxo 🌸🌺🌈🌈🌈🌹🌹🍷💝🌸🌹🎵🦄⭐️ Hmm,how did that glass of wine get in there? 😎

  5. There can never be enough flowers, I like the fusing of nature on to our buildings, it reminds us of nature and the things we can enjoy that the concrete can never fully cover, whilst we have our imaginations (and feet to explore).

  6. Absolutely fascinating virtual garden. I can almost smell the flowers.
I am also impressed with your creativity. Is there anything that you can’t do?

Speak your art mind!
