Driverless Street Art Eco-Car Premieres in Kensington Market

The street artists are very busy this summer!

This car is a big hit! Kensington is a popular tourist destination, and everyone wanted their pic taken beside this. I had to hang around for quite awhile to get my shots.

Also, it’s parked in front of one of my fave murals, which I did a post on 2 years ago. I call it  Kensington Flower Girl. Check it out!

Pics taken by Resa – July 11, 2017

Toronto, Canada

The artist is unknown to me at this time. As always, I will update, if I find out.

    1. I wish I could show you my back log! There is so much street art and so many murals. Well, even if I don’t have time to post everything, I at last get to go for long healthy walks to hunt the art down. I got a couple of interesting tips today!

  1. I could fall in love with flowers in cars. No noise but lots of flowers ❤
Do you think I can rent one at AVIS 🙂 I think I'll ask them.
Great pictures Resa. Glad you did wait for your turn.
    Greetings, Hanna xxx

        1. Yes, your Gravatar is hooked up now!
If I click on your Gravatar pic, and go into the Gravatar, I can get to your blog.
When you comment, your name appears beside your Gravatar pic. I should be able to click on your name, and go directly to your blog. That is still not hot. It makes it easier for followers if this is hot.
          Are you on WordPress?

        2. Oh, I see you are on WP! Where is your follow button, so I can follow through the reader? Or, do you only prefer email followers? The choices are yours.

I will check it out then! Keep you posted 😃thank you. I obviously prefer followers through WordPress so hopefully I can figure it out 🤔

  2. Artists make wonderful concepts assessable with their common sense approach… more power to them!
What a great statement is made here, Resa! Going green can only be the greatest for all; and we have so much available green: Sun, wind, magnets, plants ~ the list is truly endless… 😉 😉

    1. I agree, and when I think of all the useless cars piling up in junkyards, I think… why not turn them into art planters! 😀 😀 xoxoxo

  3. I actually saw a guy driving a car similar to this in Europe recently. There were plants growing in it, but not actual trees, probably due to wind shear factors and overpasses.

  4. My first thought was, “How long did it take to paint this car”. It’s GREAT …!!! I love it.
I imagine it can only be there for a short time. And, how on eath does the foliage manage is stay so green. A piece of art that begs answers to so many questions. Wonderful find … Resa, you photographed it so well.

    1. It is a great find. I’ll be by Kensington in a month or so, and will see if it is still there. Who knows, maybe there will be flowers in it, too. 😀

  5. In their constant struggle to occupy our cities, nature points a small victory over the car … lol, poetic revenge 🙂
It’s a wonderful work of urban art, I love it, thank you for showing it.

  6. I absolutely love this post dear Resa. What fun !

I will answer your wonderful email tomorrow morning dear friend. Wow for now !

Love and hugs. Ralph xoxoxo ❤
