Artist Joseph Sagaj, Ojibwe from northern Ontario,

It is massive, and was hard for me to capture with my amateur camera.

It says a lot.

Amazing find, love it!
I love it, too! I did some research and found out there are a few more murals he’s done in Toronto. I will head out to find them as soon as the weather heats up to 0!
It is a beautiful one, great artist!
I agree, and there are more out there. I will find them …. eventually!
I am sure you will…and will wait for them..:)
Most impressive indeed! Love it, is full of meaning! Great find Resa!
It was a find. I was headed to Cabbage Town with a particular Mural in mind to capture, and this was on my way! This is why I try to walk everywhere.
Where is this beautiful mural…I’d like to see it in person
It’s awhile since I posted it, but I know it’s around Sherborne & Front. It’s on the side of a fire hall, if I remember correctly.
Pourquoi n’a-t’on pas suivie leur préceptes de vie plutôt que de les massacrer , nous n’en serions pas la …!!!
Je ne sais pas pourquoi!
Incredible detail. I wonder how long that took to do, from start to finish?
Not sure, but he’s a wonderful artist! Believe me, if I ever meet him, I will ask!

It’s a nice choice of art to express!
The art work is incredibly beautiful but for me finding out what Native Americans are referred to in Canada is important to me, wonderful post!
Thank you for your compliments on my post! I owe most of the compliment to the First Nations artist, Joseph Segaj, who painted it. I’m hoping to find more of his murals during the next warm season… and they truly are out First Nations!
My goodness, Resa this is fab. The part with the missing puzzle piece–wow! I could spend hours and hours here, Resa. Have to drag myself away now and get some work done. 😦
Housework… I’ll o some tomorrow! “lol” I did some research on the artist, and found out there are a couple more murals in the city! I’m so looking forward!
