Pop Art Mural

This mural is  painted over paste-ups.

The first part was easy enough to capture, as I could step back. As it goes along the ramp, there is less and less space. It’s tighter than many alleys, and it is a high story above my head.

So, I’ll do my best to impart the feel and flow, starting left to right.

Who is that woman below?

Above you can see the paste-up disintegrating.

A Touch of Classic

It never ceases to amaze me that garbage bins are proudly displayed in front of fabulous street art.

It’s enough that the artists must work around poles, pipes and wires.

Another oddity is planting a bank of trees in front. I love trees, they are nature’s art, so why bother with the painting, then?

I expect to see a parking infraction sign on it, soon.

Quite the beauty!

Miles Davis – Bitches Brew

I’ve wanted to shoot this for several years.

Thing is, it’s in Kensington Market on one of the main streets, and a slew of humanity is constantly walking by. The vehicular traffic is also a deterrent.

Today, a winter’s Monday was my opportunity.

It’s…. like… so cool!

There’s little else, no single. It’s the album or this unofficial bit.

I found this segment from the documentary about him quite interesting.
