Happy Horror’een

Come closer, don’t be afraid! I’ll only bite some of you!

As you can see, I’m quite the looker.

I live behind parked cars, and when I can’t suck blood, I suck tail pipes!

Yip, yip, AAAaaaRRrrOooooo. I bite everyone! I’m an equal opportunity gnawer!

Perhaps you’d rather be impaled by my pal up the alley? He’s an old friend of Vlad.

Deepest horror condolences to Tim. It appears an owl swallowed him! Makes me wonder what the owlets will look like next spring?

she was bad
dangerous
and beautiful
especially
on Halloween night
when her bike
came alive
looking for a
good time
people stood back
and watched her
ride down the street
her red hair fluttering
behind her
a smirk on her face
she was one bad-ass
biker
sipping on a Frosty
and doing her thing

A Wall of a Party

On the drive home from Dog Fountain, the corner of an eye caught colour.

I returned on a rainy Sunday to find it.

A huge mural awaited me, and a massive party.

A club had taken over at least 2 monster parking lots. They painted the cement floor in colourful swirls and had a mural painted on the club’s building’s wall.

The wall is a cross block long. I had only 1 vantage point. The far end of the mural is barely discernible.

Okay, back to specific pieces, like the sweet deer.

IMO, the closest part was painted by Shalak. The further away part is painted by her husband, Smoky.

The bird intros the Smoky part.

Anyway, the entire time I was shooting, there was a loud happy party going on. The space was caged in. To sit on this uber patio, you had to go through the club, and pay a cover, or show an invitation to the function.

An at least 6 foot fence wrapped the entire (Smoky) back area.

You can see I was standing on the street outside of low railing.

There were about 200 hundred young people partying in the centre of the patio. They had a wild female DJ. It was uproarious. If it hadn’t been raining, I’m sure there would be party goers rail side.

I bet on a nice night, the patio could hold up to 1,000 people.I thought of taking a pic of the partiers, but that felt voyeuristic. I’m about capturing the art.
