April Squeeze

April Showers paints her beauties in the worst spots.

This one was at a truck rental parking place. Yes, I almost got stuck squeezing through.

Of all the graf tagged onto the wall, all I wanted was the April Showers face. The best I could do in a 2 foot slot was some demented up angles and truck window reflections.

And now, I am squeezing through from here, until middle/late April. This is my last post until then.

But, I will be visiting when I can.

Not sure who this artist is.
It’s a fine mess.

It’s because I got involved in an ART SHOW. YAY!

So, like April Showers, I’ll be sharing my beauties, but in a nice place.

But if I could, I would have a fashion show in an alley filled with graffiti.

There’s nothing like finding beauty in the roughest places; like Velvet Tango, the Art Gown I made for Holly House of Heart in a tagged up alley.

April Showers will bring art & flowers, and I’ll have lots to share with you!

Of the plethora, I’m mostly super excited to share the show of Paul McCartney’s amateur pics from 1963-64.

Our blog pal MATT is going to be on board for that!

There’s pics Paul took of the other Beatles, of America through the limo & train windows and some colour shots from Miami.

The show was SPLASHTACULAR!

There were also a few old professional promo shots.

      Yes, and I am so excited for the flowers (and art). Also, I will enjoy the showers (the prep and leg work getting to the show) as getting there is part of the fun.

      You’re right, I do have a wonderful world. I got lucky. Who knew I would end up living in such an art filled city, and that I would become addicted to art?

      Yes, it was tight, especially getting by the rear view mirror. I had to hold my neck and head a certain way.

      BUT, I got pics of what I wanted, and I love an adventure.

      Velvet Tango must be my fave Art Gown, as I keep her at the top of the side bar.

      Thanks for the good luck wish! It’s my first try at an art show, so the experience alone makes it a winner already.

  8. If you were referring to last year’s April showers, the murals seem to have held up quite well! It’s wonderful to see your artworks return to those paintings; truly brilliant.

    It seems that it was a lovely meet-up at Paul’s photo exhibition; he is very talented, and I truly enjoyed his photographs during those days.

      I love all of the art, and I find it comforting these days. At another time it was more exciting, but now it feels comforting.

      The Paul McCartney photo exhibition is brilliant. I had the best time there. If it comes where you live, do go!

  17. Wow–so much fabulous in this post, Resa. Love the April showers (we just had lots of March showers! 😊). And that would be cool if you could do an art gowns show in a tagged alley. I love the shot of Jennifer modeling Velvet Tango. The Paul McCartney show looks interesting, and perhaps I’ll be seeing it next year.
