On the First Day of Spring

On the first day of spring, I found a blue tiger,

…and I rose from the melted snow pile, like a Phoenix from a pyre.

As usual, I’m getting ahead of the mural. Here it is: left to right.

I adore this reflection!

    1. Thanks, Irina! There’s quite often cars parked by street art. It used to upset me, but now I just go with the flow of reflections. 😀

  2. Oh wow…that Phoenix is stunning. Can’t stop staring at it.
You have a great eye and talent for capturing art with your own artistic hand

    1. The phoenix is stupendous! Thank you for the compliment on my capturing of the piece. I try to bring a being right there experience when I present!

  3. Happy spring season, my sweet friend! Soooo I adore the art of the girl, but you know what? I also adore the way you created art of your own by photographing her reflection on the car. Seriously you created art from art!! Love you xo

  4. This is the best way to begin the first day of Spring, And it is also a good was to begin any day of the rest of the year. A brilliant photo collection, Resa. Simply outstanding.

    1. It was thrilling first day of spring. I found this and 2 more murals. Tomorrow, I’m hoping to get to one of David Suzuki’s Butterfly Way. It’s a wonderful project of butterflies all over the city.

  5. Loving it all, Resa.
the artist – @ luvsumone… Hahah.. I awoke this morning singing the Jimmy Durante song (featured on Sleepless in Seatle):

    Make someone happy,
    Make just one someone happy;
Make just one heart the heart you sing to.
    One smile that cheers you,
One face that lights when it nears you,

I believe you do this with every post… 🙂

      You make me happy, also!

  6. The young girls face is as fierce as th face on the blue tiger.
There’s a powerful intensity in the mural. The colors are strong too.
Love it and the way it reflected in the car. 👍👍👍

    1. I agree with all you say! The mural is intense & pleasing to the eyes. I started photographing street art in cars’ reflections because that’s where they park…. by the art! Hope you’re having a fab weekend, and remember to have a great week ahead! 😀 ❦
