On a Bell Tel box is this fab tribute to Jazz.
Below is the front (east side) of the box as you walk up the street.
Let me spin you round, starting on the south side of the box, which is a female sax player. I adore the silhouette style.
Then, it’s around to the west side, and 3 more musicians, trumpet, singer and upright bass.
The north end is plain, with the artists signature. (shown at end of post)
Then it’s back to the east side, where the dancers are in color.

I’ve got the key to the dancing blue dress girl’s chastity belt ! 🙄😳⛔🗝️💝 xoxoxo
Ralph! Good thing you are in Austria with that key! LOLOLOL! 😇🤡🦋🍷😂 xoxoxo
Heehee 🙂 xoxoxo ❤
LOL! xoxoxo
This is fantabulous, Resa!! Love, love, love it.
I love it, too! Pretty great for a telephone box on the street! xx
Wonderful, so amazing. Excellent captured, my friend. 🙂
TY, dear LDN! Although, a drummer would have been nice. 😀 ❤
Drummers are always nice. 😀 😀 😀
Very nice! 😀 😀 😀
Beautiful images.. I just love this art and all that JAZZ… Have a wonderful Sunday Resa. Lovely ❤
Thanks Sue! It’s fun and lively work of art! I’m so happy you got to see it! ❤ Have a fab Sunday… in your garden!
Thank you enjoy your own Sunday Resa ❤
I LOVE IT!!! What a fabulous and delightful piece of street art. I love the way the trumpet player is leaning back. And the dancers, singers, soooo much fun. Great post.
Exactly! It’s lots of fun.. and more!. XO
Thanks for sharing that sweet music-themed art. I like the background colours – makes the figures look they’re in a smoky bar or club and it’s midnight. Nice to see some love for drummers in the comments too *coughs modestly* 🙂
I was drawn to the ref numbers at the top left above the dancer in blue, and added them together to 12… the magic number in (Western) music…
“The chromatic scale is a musical scale with twelve pitches, each a semitone above or below its adjacent pitches. As a result, in 12-tone equal temperament (the most common temperament in Western music), the chromatic scale covers all 12 of the available pitches.” Wikipedia
Wow! This is a very sweet reply. 12.. I’m adding it up, and I adore it. Cough, cough.. luv you!
cough, cough, luv right back!
What a fantastic artist. The images look like they have movement.
They’re also wearing very typical jazz clothing. I love these, Resa. Such a wonderful find.
Isadora 😎
TY, it is a fab find! 😘💓😎
What a delightful find! This wall of nostalgia is enchanting and conjures all things in a much simpler time. It’s just a day brightening wonder. Thank you Resa 💕♥️
It is a slice of a simpler time. It’s in a drab neighborhood, and so it really does brighten things up! 😀 🔆💛
I really love this one so much! 🧡💕🌹
Hahaaaa…. Luv this one, Resa; especially the brass player; he looks really ‘into’ it… But then, so do they all, including the fabulous dancers. I’m reminded of the seamed fishnet stockings I sometimes wear dancing. Hers look fabulous! 🙂
xoxoxo
Oh, I like that you wear seamed stockings sometimes when you dance! It must complete not just the look, but the feel as well. It’s a fun piece, for sure. 😀 xoxoxo
Another good find. I like the silhouettes better than the dancers!
I like both, but I get where you’re coming from!
I like the way the artist shows the pant and dress fabrics in motion as they dance 🙂 Jazz tends to have a great toe-tapping beat!
Toe tapping and skirt slapping…I’m with you, Christy! ❤
The attention to detail of some of these artists is amazing. This artist even put seams in her stockings. Another great post Resa. Thanks for sharing.
I noticed the seams in the stockings, as well. A sweet piece of art is like a sweet poem. We see the seams. Hope you are well!
Full of movement!
Truly, like flowers in the breezes!
This is totally fun! I love the way the artist made the art fit the boxes. It makes for an interesting perspective of the large woman dancing with a tiny man. 🙂
LOL! I see what you see, in terms of perspective. Would the piece have worked as well had the artist made the woman the smaller of the 2? 😀 I think not. How about you? ❤
I agree, I think it’s more unique and interesting this way. xoxo
Agree!
Who says jazz isn’t an ‘art’? This is the art of jazz ‘personified” — great post!
Definitely…Jazz is art. There is no doubt in my mind. This is a fab little piece on the street. People can simply enjoy the loveliness of it, or think beyond. 😀
Ah love these. Great find and the photographs, Resa.
Lots of fun!
Fantastic. I like jitterbug. (I still dance a decent Rock & Roll) 😉
😀 I do a pretty good free style. 😀
Thumbs up!
