That’s a big baby. 😉. Excellent art but not my choice for what to have on my garage door. 😁
Lol… I’m a big baby!
Hmm, what would you have on your garage door?
I’m guessing ….flowers! ❦🌹
Maybe flowers. Probably some sort of nature.
I love the mural! This is the least-creepy cherub I’ve ever seen. I also really like how three-dimentional the mural is.
Hahaha! Liz, I never heard anyone ever say a cherub was creepy. You are unique.
This artist is fab! Most of the art I’ve seen by him is 3D looking. I actually met him in an alley, painting. He let me take his pic. I’ll be posting that in the near future!
Heh, heh . . .
I look forward to seeing more of the artist’s work.
Great choice of music – anything Joni Mitchell, actually… I like the angel and the heart. We had some theater people at our house one year and the director of the play gave us two little kitty angels that looked exactly like the cats we had at the time. So now Bartelbe and Claudius get to spend every Christmas with us, though I am sure their kitty angles are always around any way…
I’m sure it is still hard about Jeep.
Lol, Bartelbe and Claudius, love cat names!
Joni is special. Jeep’s on a cloud. Her ashes came home today.
I’m going to get drunk on art!!!
I ❤️ it. Wonderfully painted mural. Good old Joni Michele song.
It’s crazy how many uber talented people are painting in the streets. This artist is so good, I think he’s going to get a lot of commi$$ion$. xx
Thank you for the art, Joni, and your wishes. Thinking of all those sweet kitty faces and all the animals. 💔❤️
I know… they are so special. We are nothing without animals. ❦❦🌹❦❦ (💔)Jeep’s ashes came home today.
We should be getting Ricky’s soon. 💔
xo Joni is one of my favorites.
xoxo…Eunice! Me too! Joni is special.
She was my favorite throughout my late teens early 20’s I am old 🙂
Eunice,
I am old, too! Many of us are. Many will always be old, and many will be young.
Just be well, and enjoy all your many talents! xx
You to Resa.
xxoo
The mural is amazing, and Joni is always a treat.
I never know what I’ll find in an alley. Joni is special. Thank you, Dan!
❤
❦❦🌹❦❦
How sweet – a message I’m sure from your loved ones. (I believe in that kind of thing!)
Me too. I found this on a day I needed a message. So, there you go!
Oh, baby…that’s a unique garage door. Joni is unique as well. Saw her perform this on the Grammys. A true treasure.
Lol, yes, It is quite unique. Bruce, I’m always amazed and pleased to see what people get painted on their garage doors. It’s a wonderful display of art in our city.

Thank you dear Shey! Yes, Joni is very special! I wonder how she is doing since her stroke? xx
A heavenly happy looking angel. Must be a wonderful place over there where it comes from…
I am so sorry about the loss of your cat. In my heart I am with you, dear Resa. ❤️
Thank you fear Martha!
Such a tiny little cat worked her way into my life and heart. I appreciate your comment, a lot! ❦❦❦❦❦❦
Angel with a heart… sigh.
Eventhough I’m with Liz on cherubs, this one has something sweet and thinking of Jeep and Johnny makes it even sweeter.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo🐾👼🏻❤️🐾👼🏻❤️xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Yeah… sigh!
I never thought much about cherubs. Interesting what you and Liz think.
Anyway, I was in this alley a couple days before Jeep’s stroke, and this was not there. Then 2 days after, I went for an alley walk (solace… so quiet in alleys) and it was there.
It had to be a message.

❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦❦

Me too!
I can hardly wait to post some of the pics from that show. I have collected so much art, I wonder if I’ll find time to post it all?
Can’t hurts to try!

Cheers to the animals!
Thank you, Frank!
❤ Beautiful, Resa, and what a poignant tribute to all the sweet ones we’ve lost.
Thanks you, Diana!
It’s crazy that I found this 36 hours after Jeep passed. I had just been in that alley a few days earlier. Art… in all its forms, speaks. ❦❦🌹❦❦
❤ ❤ ❤
A lovely tribute to all those loves. 🐂🐂🐂🐂
Thank you, John!

Love the angel Resa… and reading some of the above comments and your reply to one… I think perhaps Jeep was sending you a message… 🙂 With LOVE 💖
Have a peaceful weekend to come ❤ xx Hugs x
I think you are right Sue.
❦♾️
You have a peaceful week too, Sue!
Hi Resa, how adorable is this cupid. I made one out of toffee with curly hair and a fat little tummy. It even had hearts.
Toffee? That sounds tasty. Did he get eaten? LOL! ❦❦
Of course 😀
lol!
Cute baby angel and vibes. You find the best murals Resa!
Thanks Brad! I am so lucky to live in a street art mad city!
Indeed!
I have been thinking about Jeep as well as my dear friends, Samwise, Whiskers, Tippy, Beauty and the list goes on…
Love the mural, perfect for honouring the lives of our beloved four-legged friends.
Your post reminded me of painter, Franz Marc. He had a deep love for animals. His paintings often featured animals prominently, especially horses and deer. Marc believed that animals represented purity and innocence, and he sought to capture their essence in his artwork. His passion for animals was evident in his colorful and expressive paintings, which continue to be celebrated for their emotional depth and connection to nature.
My thoughts are with you…
Sweet!
Agree!
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for this beautiful tribute to our loves.xxoo🥰
You are welcome, Gi. I miss J&J! xo
I know you do. I miss Emmie everyday, as well. At least I have her inked on my skin, so she’s with me all the time.
Sigh….. poor little Jeep! She never got over the disappearance of Johnny.
They’ve never been apart. Now they’re together again. I know Johnny was just waiting for her. He loved his mom.
Yes, Jeep was his centre. He was so darling.
Thinking of all animals in the world, they are all worthy of appreciation. The Cupid hit my heart!💘😅🤙💑
I agree!
Perhaps if we love the animals, we can love ourselves. Not talking ego love, but a more expansive intellect.
Anyway, you always get me thinking. I need to get back to an article you wrote… anima and animus were involved. Before I could comment, things went nutty here.
Life!
BTW, Im reading an interesting essay written in 1971 by Linda Nochlin – “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists”.
“Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?
Fascinating. I find myself wondering what you would think?
❦🌹🌟
Ah!!! There are many Great Women Artists in human history, from the Brontë sisters to Daphne du Maurier, George Sand, Margaret Mitchell, and, after all, Frida Kahlo… should I go on?😉😂🥰
PS: I will write more about Anima and Animus, as I believe it is a critical issue in today’s humans. Thank you!🙏🤙🌹💖
Look at that beautiful cherub! What a sweet post and of course, your big heart sending this out to all the lost fur-babies’ families. xoxoxo
Thank you dear Thunder!
I found this 36 hours after Jeep went. I had been there several days before, and it wasn’t there. Suddenly, there it was. Perhaps I read too much into it, but I suppose I needed to.

Yes…. I adore those little blessings!
Now how did I miss this? I love this! Our pets stay with us, we never forget those sweet creatures who shared our lives and loved us in return. “Never trust anyone who doesn’t like animals “… you can bet on it.
xo 😘
I agree! There’s something wrong when someone doesn’t like animals.
So, Jeep’s been gone 2 weeks, and a mouse moved in!

I’m sure Jeep would have loved the garage. 💕
