    1. Hahaha! Liz, I never heard anyone ever say a cherub was creepy. You are unique.

This artist is fab! Most of the art I’ve seen by him is 3D looking. I actually met him in an alley, painting. He let me take his pic. I’ll be posting that in the near future!

  1. Great choice of music – anything Joni Mitchell, actually… I like the angel and the heart. We had some theater people at our house one year and the director of the play gave us two little kitty angels that looked exactly like the cats we had at the time. So now Bartelbe and Claudius get to spend every Christmas with us, though I am sure their kitty angles are always around any way…

I’m sure it is still hard about Jeep.

    1. Lol, Bartelbe and Claudius, love cat names!
Joni is special. Jeep’s on a cloud. Her ashes came home today.
I’m going to get drunk on art!!!

    1. It’s crazy how many uber talented people are painting in the streets. This artist is so good, I think he’s going to get a lot of commi$$ion$. xx

    1. I know… they are so special. We are nothing without animals. ❦❦🌹❦❦ (💔)Jeep’s ashes came home today.

        1. Eunice,

I am old, too! Many of us are. Many will always be old, and many will be young.

Just be well, and enjoy all your many talents! xx

    1. Lol, yes, It is quite unique. Bruce, I’m always amazed and pleased to see what people get painted on their garage doors. It’s a wonderful display of art in our city.

    1. Thank you fear Martha!

Such a tiny little cat worked her way into my life and heart. I appreciate your comment, a lot! ❦❦❦❦❦❦

  2. Angel with a heart… sigh.

Eventhough I’m with Liz on cherubs, this one has something sweet and thinking of Jeep and Johnny makes it even sweeter.

    1. Yeah… sigh!

I never thought much about cherubs. Interesting what you and Liz think.

Anyway, I was in this alley a couple days before Jeep’s stroke, and this was not there. Then 2 days after, I went for an alley walk (solace… so quiet in alleys) and it was there.

It had to be a message.

            1. Me too!
I can hardly wait to post some of the pics from that show. I have collected so much art, I wonder if I’ll find time to post it all?
              Can’t hurts to try!

    1. Thanks you, Diana!

It’s crazy that I found this 36 hours after Jeep passed. I had just been in that alley a few days earlier. Art… in all its forms, speaks. ❦❦🌹❦❦

  3. Love the angel Resa… and reading some of the above comments and your reply to one… I think perhaps Jeep was sending you a message… 🙂 With LOVE 💖

Have a peaceful weekend to come ❤ xx Hugs x

  4. I have been thinking about Jeep as well as my dear friends, Samwise, Whiskers, Tippy, Beauty and the list goes on…

Love the mural, perfect for honouring the lives of our beloved four-legged friends.

Your post reminded me of painter, Franz Marc. He had a deep love for animals. His paintings often featured animals prominently, especially horses and deer. Marc believed that animals represented purity and innocence, and he sought to capture their essence in his artwork. His passion for animals was evident in his colorful and expressive paintings, which continue to be celebrated for their emotional depth and connection to nature.

    My thoughts are with you…

    1. I agree!
Perhaps if we love the animals, we can love ourselves. Not talking ego love, but a more expansive intellect.
Anyway, you always get me thinking. I need to get back to an article you wrote… anima and animus were involved. Before I could comment, things went nutty here.
      Life!
BTW, Im reading an interesting essay written in 1971 by Linda Nochlin – “Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists”.

“Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?
Fascinating. I find myself wondering what you would think?
      ❦🌹🌟

      1. Ah!!! There are many Great Women Artists in human history, from the Brontë sisters to Daphne du Maurier, George Sand, Margaret Mitchell, and, after all, Frida Kahlo… should I go on?😉😂🥰
PS: I will write more about Anima and Animus, as I believe it is a critical issue in today’s humans. Thank you!🙏🤙🌹💖

  5. Look at that beautiful cherub! What a sweet post and of course, your big heart sending this out to all the lost fur-babies’ families. xoxoxo

    1. Thank you dear Thunder!

I found this 36 hours after Jeep went. I had been there several days before, and it wasn’t there. Suddenly, there it was. Perhaps I read too much into it, but I suppose I needed to.
      xox⚡️💥oxo

      1. That is serendipitous, I say. That you read into it what you did is perfect. You needed an angel and one appeared to you. xoxoxo 🧚🏻‍♀️🌟 oxoxox

    1. Thank you Lauren! I know you have many fur babies and people in your heart. You are a dear person that way. Don’t ever change!
      ❦🌹🌟❦🌹🌟

  6. Now how did I miss this? I love this! Our pets stay with us, we never forget those sweet creatures who shared our lives and loved us in return. “Never trust anyone who doesn’t like animals “… you can bet on it.
    xo 😘

    1. I agree! There’s something wrong when someone doesn’t like animals.
So, Jeep’s been gone 2 weeks, and a mouse moved in!
      xoxoxo
