My Thank You Tribute To Resa

Not so long ago, my dizzy spells and skull pounding headaches returned, breaking my spirit. Like an angel in the night (or out of an alley) Resa delivered a post dedicated to me. This beautiful gesture returned light and hope to my little hut.

Laguna Gri Gri is one of the Dominican Republic’s major bird sanctuaries, set along a peaceful lagoon flanked by thick mangroves. When I took these photos, my intention was to contribute a series of murals to Resa’ inspiring blog. Sadly, my health and the lockdown due to the virus extinguished my plans.

I will do my best to do this in Resa’s unique, artistic tour guide style.

This serious faced native who Lonely Author decided to name The Serious Faced Native is the first face we see as we enter the santuary. I believe the artist wanted to convey the…

    1. You are never late! How about me? I just saw your new post.
Yeah, it’s a wonderful treat to have this post written for me. I’m trying to write a comment, besides the reblog comment. It might take awhile. Le sniff! xo

            1. True, and capes. We have capes, and alter egos, and can fly, run fast, swim, tap dragons and model Art Gowns. Not bad for a day’s work! ❦👍❦

I went down and said hi to it the other night. It seemed happy to see me. Really I was happy to see it.

It is fun. It would be nice for Lonely to get nurses like those two, but not likely in the new Covid-19 world order.

I agree totally with Lonely Author. Resa, you give so much in the way of positive light in your unique and gifted ways. Yours, is the message we should seek instead of the siren calls out there whose sole purpose is to shipwreck us against rocks of anger and subterfuge. The lovely eclectic band of followers and participants in your shared light like Princess Blue Holly, the Chicklets, Timothy, and others bring smiles and I believe one cannot feel bad if they are smiling. Thank you for all you do, especially in this challenge of the century when we need each other the most.

    1. Thank you for this very sweet comment, Dragon Dan!
You are what you refer to as, “and others “. ❦

You know, I am busier than ever with this lockdown stuff. It’s not just all sanitizing ( although a lot is) I’m out of drawing paper, but have decided to draw on the back of unfinished sketches, to Youtube music – because the jam sessions are off, for awhile.
Shopping is like Russian Roulette, and when I get home, I decontaminate all packages, myself and clothing.
I had a creative rhythm in my life, that is now more like a creative hopscotch.
I have a lot of the sketches I need for the next PBH instalment, and as slow as it is, I have started my new Art Gown.
I know I will find a new rhythm. I feel it beginning!
      Stay safe!

Thank you so much Resa. You aren’t letting this new and assured temporary situation stop you cold, but rather adjusting. That is what courageous people do. Courage is not a pass on all our emotions and frustrations but how we cope with them and keep going. You are doing the right things. That is the first and most important act. Take care out there 🤗

  5. I really like your blog. A pleasure to come stroll on your pages. A great discovery and a very interesting blog. Fascinating and beautiful. I will come back to visit you. Do not hesitate to visit my universe. See you soon 🙂
