Corktown

This baby’s hair is flying. We’re racing to thank Frank from A Frank Angle  before his blog break.

Artist: Gary Smith

Let me start at the beginning, in the past, as shown below in an olden days Corktown image.

The car above is to the left of the streetcar mural, and part of the mural in its entirety. (Thank you sun for the interesting shadow).

However, as I close in onto the elements within this impressionistic work of Street Art, I don’t care about the shadow, or the heavy traffic whipping by.

It is an alluring piece of art, and perfect to thank Frank for his contributions to Kids’ Month.

Aww, look at the cute kitty in a basket!

Look at these 2 cute doggies!

In this mural, the child is a local Corktown kid. However, a kid that will steal your heart is found at the Cincinnati Zoo, in Frank’s post On A Special Local Kid.

Thank you, Frank!

  1. Now this is a pleasant surprise. I’m stunned and grateful at the same time! Thank you. … a note to your readers. Resa was very subtle about my Special Kid post. The honoree is special, so I suggest you come over because odds are you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again, Resa! … you are a brilliant gem and an example for all of us.

    1. TY, Carolyn! It is a very interesting piece for street art. It’s the only art I have found in the streets that uses this style. It seems the boundaries are expanding! 😀 xoxo

  2. Ah, Resa what a brilliant artist! Needless to say how much I adore his dogs [all 3!] and kitty! 😉 Oh, and for anyone who hasn’t visited Frank’s post, well, this kid is just too much to miss – she is …adorable [oops, a little bit of a hint there! 😉 ] Much love to you Resa and a huge hug. 🤗🤗You make our world so much better! 🙂 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    1. Marina! ⭐
I knew you would like the doggies. I thought of you when I was shooting them. I think the same about you with your “Art Towards A Happy Day” That’s some powerful positive message. Art enriches our lives beyond money. That is why I love it. 😀 😀 ❤ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. I just love the way the cat is sitting. Nose in the air and knows exactly where it is going.
Have a lovely afternoon dear Resa 🙂 ❤ xoxox

      1. Oh calamity ! You missed this comment of mine ? Well, you know what happens to naughty girls ? Can I forgive you ? Just this once 🙂
Of course you are welcome to babysit S&S one night so long as you bring J&J. S&S told me to tell you that.
        Hugs. Love Ralph xoxoxo ❤

    1. You are welcome! Sorry I missed this comment! I am trying to catch up. I had to change my blog theme, & my niece came for a week. Thank you! 😀 😀

  4. The kitty in the basket and the doggies ~ there’s so much to love in this post 🙂 🙂 Like you, I hope Frank has a nice blogging break 🙂

    1. Christy!
      Sorry I missed this comment.
So much going on around here, and on top of it all, I had to change my GLaM and Art Gown blog themes. Mine had been retired. There is so much tweaking! Sigh! 😀 😀 😀

      1. Uggggg you and Ralph both had to change themes because they were retired – it’s a lot of work 😦 Glad you’re back blogging and smiling, sweetheart xxoo
