Garage Door Birds

Love all these birds, but I have a special spot for this sweet blue bird.

You know it’s a Toronto bird, because the CN Tower is in the BG.

A gorgeous duck!

Finally, a Toucan!

These are fantastic. That is one big bluebird of happiness. The Toucan and the duck are wonderfully rendered. The duck sunset is perfect.

  2. Quacking post dear Resa ! Still waiting to see these garage doors fluttering over Graz 🐦🦆😎
Us toucan send you love my friend xoxoxo ❤

  3. Hello Resa, I was going to suggest it was a Blue Jay but I realised the plumage on the head/face area was slightly different. Another great collection of images.
(p.s. and I think the Blue Jays might be an Ice Hockey team 😀 )

    1. I had thought Blue Jay at first, but the beak seems small. 😀 Our MLB team is called The Toronto Blue Jays. I still don’t know if there is a BlueJays Hockey team? 😀

      1. Hi Resa, yes sorry I knew Toronto had a Baseball team called the Jays, and realised I’d put ice hockey the moment after I clicked send. But I couldn’t edit my comment afterwards. Back to the bird, the colour pattern is slightly off too as the Blue Jay has a white “face” with a black horizontal stripe from it’s beak to the back of the head.
I’ll try and make sure I don’t get my sports teams mixed up in future!

    1. Oh, very neat!! I’ll have to check that out.
      The duck is gorgeous.
      Hey, I found my Barbie… circa 1985…???
She’s a disaster, but I’ll fix her up and make a gown. Another piece for the post.

  4. Like the Blue Bird too. The duck at night is kind of neat too. I have recently become more of a fan of birds, we have had some neat ones in our back yard, including owls, a wild turkey, plenty of finches list goes on. Need a blue bird now. 😉
