Hi there!
I’m an amateur photographer who has a passion for taking pics of outdoor ephemeral art.
My name is Resa McConaghy, and my site, “Graffit Lux and Murals”, was originally dedicated to showcasing & documenting Graffiti Art and Murals in Toronto and Winnipeg.
However, I now find I am featuring the Street Art of other cities around the globe through travels of mine, and guest contributors.
Taking these pics is a passion and a joy. Each work of graffiti art or mural evokes thoughts in me, and these thoughts are reflected in the titles of my Posts.
Some of these pieces may already have been named by the artists. If I know the original name, I will name it so.

If I know the name of the artist, I will credit them under the photograph and/or in the body of the post. If you are an artist & have not been credited, you can reach me by email with your info. I will gladly update the post. If you’re here, it’s probably because you love this type of art as much as I do. I hope my pics do the pieces some justice.
Contact me at: submissionstoglam@graffitiluxandmurals.com
Cheers!
Resa

Thank you Amy! our blog is absolutely beautiful!
Now I do have tears. I was just saying how discouraged I have become and “God” must have been listening. There you are saying words of Gold that went straight to my heart. Bless you, Resa!!! I am so glad you are enjoying my blog. May your life be the richer! Mine is because of YOU! Love, Amy
Dear Amy,
There is no reason you should doubt the beauty you are giving the world.
Everything I see you give is beautiful and good.
The world needs more of that.
You are very darling… the world needs a lot more darlings!
John Lennon said “love is all you need” and “give peace a chance”. I agree.
Love,
Resa
Resa, Bless you! At times I just feel as though I am plowing through a brick wall. By presenting my work as I do, one of my intentions is to get others to stop and see the beauty in their own lives. You really made my day today, and I say, “I do Love you!” Thank you! Amy
To see art of others through our viewfinder is a unique experience and I realized that only recently thanks to the exposure I got from your blog and a few more on WP. Thank you Resa!
Your welcome! Art speaks all languages!

Hi Reza, incredibly pleased to have found your blog, I love street art (I commissioned a piece on the wall of the charity bookshop that I run in Cape Town) and i love your photo’s and the fact that you capture the humor in them so well. Many of my friends on Facebook, as love street art, so have shared it on Facebook, so that they can follow as well. Thanks for following and liking my writing, best wishes and blessings Charles.
Thank you for your comment! I believe street art has true social relevance. Keep writing, Charles!
Thanks, I try to write as much as possible, but the Help the Rural Child Charity Bookshop branch that I run takes up much of my time and energy, but I try to blog something each day. Best wishes and blessings Charles.

This is interesting, because I am in the process of composing a post about the google street art project. I’m glad I found your blog. And thanks for visiting. I’ll be sure to post your site as a feature soon.
Oh how cool! I’ve posted over 525 pieces of Graf &/or murals, and have about 400 still to post.
Maybe we can work on this feature together. I’ll start writing this week and we will incorporate your blog into this feature concerning street art and murals. The google street art project is unique, check into it (just google it).
Okay, I’m looking forward to your article. Let me know what I might do to help!
Will Google the street art project!
Resa, Ive posted the article on street art with your site indexed as one to visit. I’ve also featured you on my ‘freshly feaatured’ page. If you could do me the honor of placing a widget with a reciprocal link on your site to the page, it would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the documenting of street art.

I took a look! It’s fabulous! Street Art speaks, and can speak loudly!
Everyone can see it. Walls don’t hide or protect it. Walls expose it.
It can be vandalism. It can be art. It can be beautifying. It can be informing.
Thank You resa for visiting and liking my art pieces !!! 🙂 * Cynthia
Always a pleasure! 🙂
Love your blog! Keep up the good work Resa 😉

Howdy! Nice to see you here! I’ll visit you again. 🙂 🙂
Interestingly, you need to see the Hear Ye update.
Fascinating blog.Have you seen the making of a mural/graffiti and if yes ,could you share that experience?I am intrigued by the unknown folks behind this art.
Yes, I have watched artists painting, mostly in alleys, sometimes on roofs. Interestingly, many of the artists have become well known, as the art form increases in popularity. Jaqueline Hadel at acquelinemhadel.wordpress.com/ has a couple of posts as of this date…. Nov.27, 2015 that show the process. You might want to check that out.
I think I will begin to collect shots of artists painting. When I have enough, I will make a post, and let you know.
Thank you so very much for your interest!
Thanks. That will be interesting. Will send you some I have come across.
Thank you!!

Hi Resa. Fom the great posts I’ve read so far, I’m delighted to follow you! Your photos are stunning and the political and social topics they depict – and about which you write – are thought provoking and inspirational. I’m really glad to have found your blog!
Thank you! Likewise, and big blush. Lol.
I just found your blog and am enjoying the concept. Although we don’t feature murals on our blog, I have long been intriqued with them and can remember many from our travels like ones in Cortez, Colorado [our first?], Lake Placid, Florida, a small town full of them and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a huge city full of them. Last year, we did feature the murals of Joplin, Missouri.
Hello! I just found this comment! I hope you are having a wonderful long weekend! I will check out your blog & see if I can find the murals in Joplin.
