Hi Resa. Oh, but she is exquisite. Can see why you adore her face big time. Plus, lemons! And those blues… aquamarine, turquoise. Blue is never sad for me when there are so many shades. Spring is in the air?
Nice find, thanks as always for sharing x😍x
I love looking at blue, although I don’t wear blue… except for dark navy, occasionally.
The day I found this was a hot soup day. I’ll try their gelato in the summer!
Thank you, John! It was so thrilling to find this on a winter’s walk. I never know what Ill find when I go for a walk.
I found a tiger yesterday.
OX OX OX OX
Yeah… and in winter to boot. Of course I was a bit in shades of blue myself, walking for a couple of hours in the cold.
It was like a theme that day!
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Agree!
I don’t know if they had blueberry. I didn’t go in. It was so cold, and I had been walking in the cold for a couple of hours.
I’ll be back in warmer weather and find out!
You find the best art!! I agree with you about the face. Alas, our favorite gelato shop was killed by the pandemic. We would drive the whole width of the state to get it.
The street art inspires me to walk for hours (weather permitting)
Too bad about your gelato shop. Alas, the pandemic ruined many things. Life is changed forever! ❦❦
Liz, I am a total Covid Coward.
I have 6 shots. I wear a mask everywhere I go, even to takeout the garbage.
Thing is, there are not many people, if any, in the alleys, where I find most of the art.
If I do find one on the street, the people are moving, I shoot fast and get out of there.
I order groceries. I make 1 trip to the Drug Mart a month, and I go during down time.
On another note, I read “Henrietta’s Saving Grace”. It’s an excellent write, albeit a sad story. I’m glad I read it.
If I remember correctly, it’s a true story?
Best!
I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. I’ve been feeling like some kind of freak.
Thank you for reading “Henrietta’s Saving Grace.” I’m glad you enjoyed it (although “enjoy” may not be the right word in this story’s instance). A few basic details (alcoholic, practical nurse, once married to a bigamist, brought home drunk by the police) are true. Everything else is made up or researched.
Then we are both freaks. Actually… honestly everyone else look like losers to me.
A 55 yr. old working acquaintance of mine died from Covid about 6 weeks ago.
The blues are gorgeous. I never wear blue, but I sure love looking at it.
I finished John’s book. Yay! Working on the review now. “Lion’s Scream” is the next one I read & review.
Have a fab week!
I also enjoyed John’s book. It is clever with its storyline. I also rarely wear blue as I prefer brighter colours. I did think it worked really well for this mural.
This is an exceptional mural Resa. There emotional nuances that come through this portrait. I feel a sense of calmness and harmony because of the colour choices. I read that blue is known to lower heart rate and blood pressure, while turquoise has been shown to have calming effects on the mind and body. Both colors are often associated with feelings of tranquility and relaxation. P.S. I agree that the blue beads are blueberries.
Amid all the individual and whimsical murals you’ve found, Resa, this one is particularly unique. The artwork is simply beautiful. I love the combination of vivid colors, the innocence of her face… And all of it has, for me, a slightly sinister undertone. Do you think so, or is it just me? Thanks for sharing this with us. Hugs.
Thats a pretty nice paint

Nice find, thanks as always for sharing x😍x
Thank you, Ford!
YES, Spring is in the air. Should be getting in some decent walking before it gets too, hot. LOL. x😍x
Yes, Resa, that sweet spot between too cold and too hot! Just right. Enjoy the promenades! 😍
😍😍
Beautiful find, Resa. Blueberries and lemon are wonderful together in food and art.
And yes, lemon gelato is perfect in the summer.
I love looking at blue, although I don’t wear blue… except for dark navy, occasionally.

😊
Really beautiful portrait. Super find.
It is a beauty!
Thank you Tim! xoxo
This makes for a gorgeous storefront. It would definitely pull me in for a Lemon
gelato ( or maybe blueberry 🫐).
Beautiful share dahling Meece!
xoxoxo
Thank you dear Meece!
It’s so great that the name of the place isn’t in the mural. It’s just fab art on a store.
xo🐭🐭ox
I agree. Those are definitely blueberries and she is utterly beautiful! What a terrific find, Sorceress! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV0UG0cwGGs

Beautiful, Resa. I love your photos. You caught the artistry just right.
Thank you, John! It was so thrilling to find this on a winter’s walk. I never know what Ill find when I go for a walk.

Sounds great that you have these surprises. OX OX OX OX
It is truly thrilling for me. It makes me want to walk for miles, just in case I find something.

I’m so glad. 🐂🐂🐂🐂
Beautifully blue!
Bery! 😉
F is for fruit and F is for fabulous – This is both!!
Agree Christy! There’s nothing like a winter F-ind!
Oh, Resa, she’s gorgeous and the lemons create such a wonderful contrast!
Great find, dahling! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

I was excited to find anything new in winter. Still, I found 3 new pieces yesterday. One is a gorgeous tiger!

Enchanting and did they have blueberry gelato?
Agree!

It sure is! I’m still too Covid-phobic to go out and be around other people.

Cool! It’s an excellent write, Liz!
In the case of this virus no longer being a threat, wishing won’t make it so.
Agree!
Beautiful are and I love the combination of blue and yellow. Did you try the gelato?
The colours are wonderful.
No, I was too, cold. I’d been walking in snow for a couple of hours. I was more in the mood for hot soup. Ha!
I’ll be back!
Good summer spot.
Yes!
My comment should’ve said beautiful art not beautiful are.
No worries! I’m onto auto correct’s mistakes.
What a face! And now I want some blueberry and lemon icecream. 😉
Stay safe, dear Resa!
Agree! However, I can wait for summer for the ice cream!
Be well, Martha! xo❦❦
She’s a blueberry beauty to be sure, Resa. And with a touch of lemon, even more spectacular!
Agree! It was a thrill to find her. ❦❦
What a blue beauty, with splashes of sunshine mixed in to make it shine.
Yes!
Now, it is dark here, as usual. They say we will get a tad of sun tomorrow.
I’m okay though. You bring the sun here!
MUAH!
You’re so lovely.
MUAH!
MUAH!
MUAH!
Indeed, my lovely Resa. She is an absolutely adorable beauty. With the best colour ever: Blue! 😍😍😍😅🙏💖
Love blue faces in street art. We drove by one last week. I’m itching to go there. Next Tues. or Wed. might be the day! xoxoxo
Isn’t she beautiful! Just the perfect invitation to enter that shop (or stand outside and marvel at the wall). Gorgeous!
I stood outside and marvelled. I’ll try some gelato in the summer! The day I found her, I wanted a bowl of hot soup!
Ha ha ha. Yes. go back for some gelato. Blueberry of course. 🙂
Hi Resa, this is a fabulous mural/painting. I think you are right about the beads being blueberries. I love the blue undertones to this picture.

That’s a beautiful piece of art Resa. Great find and feature. I’m back girl! I have some mural pics to share with you. ❤ xx
YAY!!!! I’ll end a mail to you to reconnect! xxoo
Fab! Yes, let’s discuss a post. 🙂 ❤ xx

Absolutely gorgeous. Despite the cold. (I had to put a sweater on…) 😬
