    That’s a beautiful mural. One of our staff was just in the office with an adorable Pug puppy that looks a little like the dog in the mural.

    1. I adore dogs! Yet, I’ve always had cats.
      I’m not good at identifying breeds. I thought this could be a Boxer, or a Pug.

          OMG! The EVAC quit, and it’s not even 6.
          It’s been outside my window all week, 7-7. I’m dizzy! It’s actually very disorienting.

    1. Not sure what the multiple eye feel is about. I quite like this piece. The trash bin is annoying. It looks like the dog is eating trash.
      There’s been several multiple eye paintings around. I’ve been wondering about that.

  7. Love that doggy. I found the double eyes/glasses to be a bit confusing. Maybe, it is supposed to be like seeing two perspectives at once? In spite of that confusion, I really like this image.

  10. It is at these times I often think that art really is all…indeed I’ve likely mentioned that previously. In this case the art is alive; has character. A lovely gal and dog both comfortable in the knowledge they are…put simply…adorable. A fine post indeed, young Resa. As ever, Regards, TOF

    1. TOF -other than food and shelter (includes clothes) there is art.
      I think there is an art to having food & shelter, but not having to work a job. Then one can really get some art done.

  12. Very cool, Sorceress. This girl looks familiar – is that possible? The colours are fabulous and it’s funny but in the past month or so, several employees bring their dogs to work (there is almost no one in the office except me every day and the others come in on Thursdays, mostly). It’s kinda fun to have the pooches strolling around.

    1. Possible! I’ve posted several faces by this artist. He uses all kinds of colours in the skin tones, often with green. Dog days at the office! Sounds fab! ⚡️💥

      1. Ahhh… that would explain it. You can’t see the “double vision” and not remember them.
        And no. It’s incredibly boring to be alone in an office day in and day out. I would prefer to work at home in this case, yanno? xoxo

          AH! Also, there was a guy’s face… he didn’t have glasses, but he had like 3 or 4 sets of eyes. That was dizzying art. oxoxo

      I get my second shot on Monday. YAY!!!! In a few weeks I’ll be able to hit some other areas of the city!
      Of course I have a lot of art in my stash, but …
      It’s like when I look for something to wear, and the closet is full, but I have nothing to wear.

      1. Pretty much nothing. They make a, kind of, sniffing noise as they sniff a lot of things. But you have to hold them near your ear to hear it. Otherwise they’re on mute.

  19. Hi Resa, why…oh why do folks have to obscure these artworks with dumpsters? It make it look like the doggy is raiding the bins for food. I think that is a French Bulldog(?) and it reminds me of the late Carrie Fisher’s dog that she called Gary (Fisher)!
    Anyway, ignoring the bins, this is yet another excellent artwork. Thanks.

    1. I know! It’s because it’s a narrow alley, and there’s nowhere else to put the dumpsters.
      I’ve moved them to get a better shot, but when they are full of trash they are too, heavy for me.
      LOL, I thought the same thing; poor pup is eating trash.

    The lady in the picture reminds me of Lara Croft, it was her green top and braids that gave me that impression, and I too love that dog. Another fantastic graffiti find my lovely friend, and thank you for sharing.

    1. I’m getting my second shot on Monday! YAY!!!! A few more weeks and I’ll feel confident enough to take public transport to other parts of the city, and walk around!

        I agree it’s been a real nightmare but hey even after your second shot do be careful as there’s new variants that seem resistant, they don’t tell us everything, basically as it’s all new and not enough analysis.

        1. I will be vigilant
          I was wearing 3 masks, but due to the heat I’m wearing 2 now. However, I take a face shield with me in case I need togo into a store, and it looks crowded.
          I’ll still wear 2 masks, and carry my shield for the rest of the summer. I feel the fall could slip backwards again. Sigh! Will reassess!

            I think your protection against the virus is very good, I only wear one mask but two does sound safer, I guess it depends on the material used. I do like to breathe a little 😉 lol

            Yes with all the new variants around now it’s looking rather grim for a quicker fix than we first imagined. The Delta strain is definitely one we need to keep away from, so be safe out there my lovely friend, I know that you’re certainly trying to be and that’s great 🙂

  22. Third time around for this mural, Resa. There is a great deal of symbolism in this mural, especially with the eyes. Have added it to my Reading Room! Love your mural treasures.

    1. Oh, yay! The multiple eye thing is interesting on its own.
      Beyond that, I have shot several multiple eye images in the last year. Perhaps the artists are speaking amongst each other? {{hugs}}

      1. When I visited the the mural artists at the 2019 Mural festival, I found that these artists (who came from all over the world) had great synergy. It was like a huge celebration. They shared ideas and admired each other’s work. It was fun to watch them together. I am looking forward to Vancouver Mural festival 2021 especially now that we slowly opening up. Sending hugs back!
