    That has a wonderful style. Interesting symbolism with the characters spilling out of her head. It looks like they are coming in the the right-hand side of her head and perhaps being processed on their way through.

    1. Agree! I have another old face that’s very cool, but I can’t recall the title right now.
      I’ve posted at least 1500 pieces of street art on this blog, so it’s not that easy to remember all.

    1. The funny thing is a lot of the really fabulous artists are older now, having painted in the streets since the 1980’s! Of course there’s always new younguns’ entering the fray, but they are just learning to paint in the street. You see them get better with time.

  6. Resa – a very insightful thought. Perhaps older faces are more difficult to capture because there is more history, more experience, more wisdom written into the lines that come from living. By the way, I was going back over your previous posts – brilliant captures all. You have created an amazing online art gallery

    1. Agree! Also capturing those nuances on brick or slatted garage doors, etc. adds to the challenge.

  7. I have no idea what the extra stuff means, but it reminds me of the parable in the Bible about the person with a beam in his/her eye getting upset by the person with a dust speck in his/hers. 🙂 I like the art here even if I don’t get all the nuances.

      1. I mis-typed. It’s not really a parable but comes Matthew 3:

        3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

          1. Exactly, something I thought of during both the election cycle and the Covid crap. Lots of kettle and stone throwers out and about these days and what about the morons getting in fights at the airport????

  9. I’m the oldest person there’s ever been, young Resa. Do you think they might paint me? I recently asked Banksy to do that very thing. All he said in reply was, ‘Go forth and multiply’ as he walked off growling. Will Canada save my egotistical desire to be painted on a wall? Regards, TOF

      Hmm, interesting comment from Banksy. I wonder what he thought you’d multiply into, dandelion fluff, bacteria, …I know… pages of a book!
      I think you’d look fab on a wall. I wonder what Canadian artists could paint you?

      1. ‘Go forth and multiply’ I’m embarrassed to say is a polite way of saying the ‘f’ word followed by ‘off’. I’m not sure yet the indications are that Banksy plainly did not take a liking to me, young Resa. I have that effect of the famous and the, strangely, tap dancers…why, I’ll never know. If only the Canadian artists could paint me. My wife tried to paint me once but run out of paint. The incomplete painting of just my feet has remained in the attic for several decades now.   17. One side is grey, passive and the other exploding in colors, Yin and Yang? I think the artists have a good laugh at the interpretations. A special mural!

  18. I think she’s remembering her youth or is an AI being implanted with art or having a dream. Whatever, she’s a cool composition. Was also strangely reminded of the ‘face scene’ in Total Recall when Arnie is discovered hiding in the face of the older woman!

    I was thinking of you–I saw a few interesting murals yesterday, but we were in the car and couldn’t stop.

      I walked for 4 hours yesterday (feel like a truck driver hit me), and found a few things. 😀
