Just because I’ve walked through an alley 1000 times, doesn’t mean I won’t find something new.
…and so, out doing errands, I take the alley…
… and find Scheheraholly.

The Artist:
Some fab reflections of Scheheraholly.
Now that is really interesting and fits in well with the overgrowth.
IKR! Lol! I always wonder what people think when I crash their yard to take pics.
Based on that I’ve only been chased away a couple of times, I think they are proud of their art.
I think most people would be proud. You are a brave one.
Thank Tim! I suppose I’m brave, in an urban alley kinda way.
Urban alleys can be quite dangerous places to be sometimes.
True.. the alleys can be scary. For some reason, I feel kind of at home. The rummies (& others) only come into the alleys to urinate. They stay on the main streets to beg. There’s no $$$$ in the alley.
LOL! One day I was in an alley, and an artist was finishing a painting. I recognized the art, and asked him if he was so&so the artist. He was happy I recognized the art, said yes, and we struck up a conversation.
At that point, a guy entered the alley and began the ceremony of taking a whiz….on the artist’s art.
The artist confronted the guy, saying that at least he could wait until the art was finished.
The rummy had decency, smiled and with a respectful nod, peed on someone else’s art.
LOLOLOL!
Of course I totally avoided the crack gal working out of the abandoned car. The city towed that away in about 3 months.
She was the scariest street person, ever!
Glad she’s gone, and more art has been painted!
That’s hilarious. They pee and crap in the alleys around here which includes the backdoor of our office. We have several crazy, violent street people downtown. We are looking for a new building in a better part of Albuquerque. The city has basically abandoned downtown and it has gone down the drain really fast since COVID and the riots, which they call protests.
UCH! A riot is a riot A protest is a protest.
I’m so sad about the historic part of Albuquerque being destroyed. I would have loved to have seen what is left of Route 66!
Covid has exposed society’s inadequacies, and much more.
We (the world) has turned a corner. There is no going back. We have entered the Twilight Zone!
That’s hilarious while being sad at the same time…
As for the crack gal – eesh.
Oh Dale… she was a terror. If looks could kill, I’d be dead!
Nonetheless, yes, when I was with the artist, that was a very funny moment!
That is very scary!
No kidding…
Won’t tell you what I saw today…BUT I found a very, very sweet mural!
Can’t wait to see it!!
Scheheraholly is a psychedelic alley dream, just look at her. those lips, those eyes! What a find! LOVE Sherheraholly! xoxoxoxoxox
IKR! What a serendipitous find! It’s 1001 alley dreams all painted into 1 image. I just love Sherheraholly, too !
In some way…. she is for you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Can you find one for me in Toronto, please? A hamster graffiti thing would be cool. Ta!
Hmmm, how about a dinosaur wearing a crown? I just found one! He looks very, very vicious.
Makes me think of you, Mr. Wapojif!
👍 Bingo, that’s proper belting, that is.
Okay! SO…. My new Art Gown is almost finished. I’ve got a big post here in a couple of days. Your dinosaur will be second post up when I return to GLAM from Art Gowns.
Roar. See what I did there? Like a dinosaur roars. Like in Jurassic Park. 🦖- roar.
So exciting and beautiful.
Yes… and who knows what I will find tomorrow! Norm will drive me to mid-town, and take the art paper home. I’ll walk through the alleys home. It will take me about 3 hours. I’m sure to get at least 2 fab pieces! I need the walk, and love the art!
This is truly a wonderful discovery!
Thank you, Thunder! I was quite thrilled, and still am.
And lucky us that you share with us, Sorceress!
OMG… I went half way through the city to find Art Paper. I draw on 11×14. The city is picked clean. The store I went to said they had lots. I bought the last 3 pads. WHEW! ⚡️💥
Holy moly!! I’m guessing artists are keeping themselves busy! Glad you found! 🧚🌟
Very mystical, I like it. 🙂
Me too! 😀

You always find the best street art Resa. I most enjoy that part of an eccentric and creative vibe that finds expression in every unlikely place. In full color too.
Thank you!
Interesting, but I’ve found a lot of B&W street art that is Covid themed.
That is interesting and I guess expected given the grip Covid has on us. I’d love to see some of it.
This mural is so full of phantasy and very sensual.
Super ABSTRACT! Just how I like life!
Lol! Yeah, I quite enjoy the abstract quality, as well!
Hehehehe!
A perfect start to the day Resa xxxxxxx
Yay, Shey!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Look at that! A rhyming 2 word poem!
Art finds you, Resa. You are open to seeing the extraordinary in everything you see and do. You have chosen a beautiful way to live. You continue to inspire us all. Hugs!
In some ways, art does find me. Interesting, and I think I did chose a fab type of life. There hasn’t always been a lot of $$$, but there has been all kinds of art….. & music!
Ohh… just remembered, I have some music from downstairs to post for you!
LOL! It will happen.
Fabulous! What a find!
IKR! It’s on an old flaky wood wall. I found it just in time!
