View to a Cityscape

I adore this art piece.

The above shot is taken using the Pano setting on my Iphone. However, instead of panning side to side, I turn the camera on its side and pan up from the bottom. Hence, the curve, which I like!

The reflected skyline view in the sunglasses seems reasonably correct. However, one lens is from the lake view, and the other from the land view.

It faces a parking lot. The car reflections come from quite high up, so sometimes are not as crisp, as usual.

There are reflections in the windows on the other side of the parking lot. These windows are about the 6th story.

    1. It really is a beauty. More and more high rises are getting paint jobs. I really like it!

    1. IKR! I had to have this in my collection, and made a special trip!
It was so great standing in front of it. I could have moved into the parking lot. However, the temperature is plunging and maybe snow soon.
(Sent you a mail with an outline for ep 2 of the mermaids)

  1. The reflections are a nice catch, it always pays to be observant around a piece of art work. I particuarly liked the detail on the glasses that you pointed out.

  2. Interesting mural to view with all of its many parts. My first thoughts were
of the artist trying to paint this. For sure, heights aren’t a problem. LOL
I would imagine the best way to view it is from a distance. Well done on curving the photo.
The photograph with the sky behind the mural is perfection.

  3. PLEASE DO NOT PUBLISH

    Dear Resa,

You sent me a message on a night I was so depressed I was ready to give upon life.
I will always be grateful for that message that lifted my spirits.

Wanted to give you a little update. My appointment did not go well. The cardiologist confirmed what my primary doctor told me. I suffered two heart attacks in December and although my blood pressure is currently under control, my heart is getting weaker.

Parts of my heart are not functioning properly, forcing the rest of my heart to work harder. I will have a procedure in April that SHOULD reverse the damage, but there is no guarantee that it will work. He said that 1,000 hearts in my condition will fail to survive this procedure one in a thousand times. So the odds aren’t too bad. Should I decide to not have the procedure he is certain parts of my heart will completey shut down within two to three years.

Thank you for your beautiful support and concern.

I will continue blogging, so we will stay in touch.
    Grateful for everything.
    STAY BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED.
    XOXO

    1. Dear Lonely,

Thank you for this very sweet message!
I’m saddened to hear of your heart’s problems. However, I know many people who have had heart procedures,
all with positive outcomes. After their procedures, all got better, and had more energy than they had had in years.
I feel the same for you. I see the 2 choices facing you.
One, as you say, is to maintain the status quo of your health, for the last 2-3 years of your life.
Two, is have the operation. It seems a scary thing, but your life will be so much better after.
As you say, the odds are way in your favour.
Whatever you choose, I support your decision. I support you.
xoxo Thank you for saying I am beautiful and talented.
You are beautiful and talented, too! xoxoxo
