Here’s an odd bit I found on the side of a building.
The front & side of the building quietly announce coffee and dressmaking.
I’m unsure of what this image has to do with either, if any at all. I like it a lot!

Resa, it’s beautiful. Powerful woman, embracing her strength, ready to take on whatever comes next. Love it.
I really like it, too. I found a very neat piece in the alley today. It’s getting tags before it’s even finished. Yet, the taggers had some respect. The alleys behind me are being attacked by a new generation of teenage minded/no art/ no respect people. I want to say boys… but who knows these days. What a mess out there. Think I’ll take pics of it!
It is rather strange. Interesting posture.
True, and I find it piquing.
Very cool.
I think so, too! 😀
You have a good eye.
Strange but cool and yes, powerful.
IKR! A good find. ⚡️💥
Woot! 🧚👗
I must agree Resa, this lady ( I am not sure if she is of this earth) is filled with exhilaration and the power to conquer and she is dressed for the task. Wonderful art, thank you for catching these and sharing it dear Resa ❤
I saw it from the corner of an eye, while waiting for a streetcar. Obviously I missed the next few cars!. 😀 xoxo
Ahh! Missed the ride. Don’t blame you xo xo
Fascinating image!
IKR! I had to post it!
There is more to this story – a mythology? I am fascinated by the positioning, the hands and feet, the headdress. Would love to know more about the artist. Please keep us posted if you find more. Always an adventure when you step out your door.
I wish I knew more, too. Will keep you posted!
OMG… out my door has become literally interesting. Stay tuned!
I’m here!
I’m wondering, Resa, what the object is to her right – it has the letters ‘SHO’ upon it and look somewhat like a cockpit of a flying vehicle?
Very strange indeed. I’d love to know more..
xoxoxo
It says “Shoppe &Tailor” in a squat diamond. Yes, strange, as the image does not reflect it. xoxoxo
It looks like a modern nod to old Asian art, I love it, and I love that it is very free in it’s depiction and at the same time tasteful.
Agree! Although I had not thought of a nod to old Asian art. Good thought! xo
Something about her posture reminds me of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I am glad you missed the ride and found her.
I’m glad I missed the ride too, she’s lovely!!!
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon…interesting!
Lovely and unusual. I like it a lot.
Agree! Me, too!
That’s a rather unusual peace of streetart. I like it!
It’s neat! Art rules.
Resa, a quintessential posting on the beauty and power of women!
Agree!
Street art can be very progressive!
Absolutely!
This one is a curiosity. A naked woman before a place for dressmaking. Was that on purpose?
The eyes appear seem futuristic. The black hand. Is that meant to be a glove or does it say something else. This one is an odd image that asks so many questions.
I agree! This image has me stumped, but I like it! Yes, many questions.
Oh, I like this one very much.
How did I miss this incredible art?
Beautiful white, red, and blue colors. 🙂
Lol! We all miss posts. 😀 This is not a job for me. It’s a joy. There is not a routine or schedule. I see that I’m a happy haphazard blogger. 😀
The joy in us makes our excitement looking forward the next day. 🙂
