    1. Yes, celebrating, as I will once the temps stay above freezing. It looks like we will be in the balmy range of 2C (daytime only) as of around March 10.
      The girls are very talented!

    1. Spring will come! I feel this will be a very good one for me, filled with new ideas, and lots and lots of walking to find art! Best – Resa 😀

  3. So beautiful! Cranes are plentiful here , they just wander around in pairs ( they are monogamous, usually in the spring they will have a young one with them. If they lose their mate or offspring they will search for days calling mournfully, They are so special! These are beautiful paintings of these amazing birds. Thank you for finding and sharing them Resa! 💞💞💞💞

    1. Holly, how wonderful! I have never seen a crane around here!
It’s so beautiful that they are monogamous. The fact that the cranes, and many other animals cry out for their mates and offspring proves that animals have feelings.
I’m so happy to be a veggie!
Well, still, I can cross the footbridge to the lake, where I can see a few ducks, the odd swan, Canada Geese and sea gulls aplenty.
Up on Queen we have sparrows, pigeons and grackles. In back yarded areas there are also blue jays, various black birds and finches. I agree the street art cranes are beautiful, and I am happy to have them.

      You are very lucky!!! 💞💞💞💞

        1. How wonderful to have all those gorgeous birds & exotic creatures around you. 💞🌺💞🌹♥️

However, we have ….. baby pigeons! LOL! 😉
I must say, I never saw an uglier baby, but when they look at me with their big bulging eyes which take up all of their heads except for their hungry little mouths, they melt my heart.
I saved one nest from being eradicated by a pest control guy. He was putting up spikes so they couldn’t nest, but there was already a nest there. It involved me making a big scene in the street. He went away, and came back after they left the nest.
Haha! It took them about 3 years, but slowly, slowly the pigeons filled in the spaces between the spikes with … stuff! Then they built a nest on top of the spikes. 😀

    1. What, the clocks change next week? Uch! Why can’t it just always stay the same time? Okay, I shouldn’t complain. I’ll go do some art of a kind! Cheers!

  4. As our dear Anne with an “e” once said: “That is one good thing about this world…there are always sure to more springs.” L.M. Montgomery I have been looking forward to the daffodils but no sighting yet. But there is a feeling that the earth is waking up!!!

    1. Oh yes, I surely agree. The earth is waking up. Definitely no daffodils here, yet!
They are shooting another season of Ann with an “e” here!

  5. Nature is gorgeous, I love the backdrop though, the darkness really suggests so many things but my favourite thought is that it doen’t show any signs of humans. The ones on the side door almost appear 3D from afar.

    1. Yes, and I am pretending that spring is in my sights.
“Oh, look there! I think that will be a tulip in 2 weeks. Look, the trees…. I see pre buds!”
😀 +6C and rain on Sunday! ⚡️💥will fill the atmosphere!

      1. 🧞‍♀️(You, of course, realize this is as close as we can get to sorceress)👗,

Today, sun is blinding. It’s-7, feels like -14. 🙄
I’m not even allowing myself to pretend. Yet.
Calling for a flash snowfall tonight. Like eff off already!

            1. Hmm, I could do a spring print, but that’s on fabric.
Alright!!!! Let me just recall that incantation Uncle Luedi taught me.
              Let’s see!
AH! Hocus Pocus, Rolly Rocus. (accompanied by the imagined sound of thunder)
Pulled a quarter out of my ear, and I got to keep it, every time!

    1. Bloom around you? You lucky ducky! -15c today here. Took me longer to bundle up to walk a block to the corner store than it took me to walk there and back.
      YET, Sunday +6C and rain!!!!!xx

    1. Actually, now that you mention it, they do look a bit Greek! Sending love on wings to Argentina! 🕊🇦🇷to you! 💜🦄
