Violeta’s Guardian

In the narrowest of alleys is a testament of love. This shot is captured using the IPhone Pano setting sideways.

Clandestinos had a baby. The baby has a Guardian, a very scary and handsome one at that.

Nonetheless, the alley is almost impossible to shoot in, with my IPhone. So, I show it in dribs and drabs, beginning with the title above.

First up is this stunning violet coloured flower. Then some sweet flower buds.

The violet below is up so high I was only able to shoot this one pic.

This is the most I could capture in 1 shot, even using the Pano setting.

At the top end of the alley is the Guardian with a golden orange flower beneath.

No matter where I stood, this is the tallest I could capture. Yet, there is more on top of the purple mountains. Then I thought, why not use Pano sideways?

That is what resulted in the opening pic. It was difficult, as I had to use an upward arcing movement, which is a foreign sensation of movement.

Many times I began, then my wrist/fingers reacted oddly. This resulted in a split exposure.  (above and below)

        1. Okay, Ralph, you’ve stumped me on this one! A euphemism for gorblimey? (I Googled the name)
You must be from England. Lol 😳🙀 ❤ xoxoxo

    1. Yeah, it’s about time we had a day nice enough to slip out for a mural. 😀 Of course it snowed all day yesterday and today is -16c. I’ve got some serious cabin fever going on!!!!! ⚡️💥

          1. He will look at me with disgust because he knows I will say… oh, it’s too mucky outside and you are going to get gross 😉
He much prefers -10C and lower!

  2. Great shots, Resa. Sideways pano; now that is very interesting! I’ll definitely give it a try. Not so easy I expect… 🙂
I do love the bolder murals like these. The colours are incredibly vivid..
    xoxoxo

    1. Yeah, sideways Pano. I’ll be using it again, for sure! I adore this colourful mural! It was just painted about a month ago, so the colours are not just vivid, the fresh and bright! 😀 xoxoxoxo

    1. Thank you dear JMR! The art is spectacular. I’m thrilled my loving attempts to photograph it in a way that all can taste a bit of the experience, of seeing it for real, is appreciated !

  3. Resa, such bold & beautiful photos. The colors, flower & eagle details stunning! The sideways pano your great discovery. I need to try that difficult maneuver with my iPhone XS Max. It has the best camera! I more or less focus, point & shoot. Happy Thursday! 📚🎶 Christine

  4. I was here last night and completely enchanted by this wall art. This holds a fabulous tropical flair for me, the big birds, the bright colors, it’s just marvelous! What a wall…love it!

    1. It is a wonderful wall!! I’ve been sipping 🍷🍷🍷… ooops!
This is a fab mural, and I know that where you are in Miami… the tropical wine… I mean art depicts bright Riojas. Lol!

  5. Great timing with this one Resa as I cannot wait to see flowers in bloom here one day soon! Spring is in the air brrrrr the cold air 😉 And that owl, look at the detail!

        1. I just got the call that the G.S. book is in at my library branch. However, as it is -16 with s… flurries today, I might wait. I don’t know. I’m itching to pick it up!

  6. You seem to been creating a whole new art form here. I took some shots of some rather differ street art yesterday I found here in kingston, but now I want to go back with the Pano before I put a post up!!

    1. Lol! I just love street art. Every mural or piece, I just get better at taking pics to share. I try to bring as full an experience, as I can to the viewer. There’s nothing like seeing the art in person, but I do the best I can to get close to it. Look forward to seeing the street art from your city!
