  5. All very interesting, Resa; well done to Norman.
    The dancing couple image has me curious! It almost looks like a medium of some thickness (not paint) has been used to create this gorgeous image. Do you/Norman know what it is? Or is it paint? 🙂

      1. LOL! Yes, it is paint! It fascinated me, too. I thought it was glass at first. There’s all kinds of talent out there. 😀 xoxoxo

    2. I wish I had been there! I’ve seen the movie, of course, and in the Showtime movie “Hendrix” I got to recreate his wardrobe, the whole band, really. I also got to recreate “The Who” ‘s wardrobe. I still have it all!
      What a fab time it must have been! Last concert I went to was “Drake” on tour with “Future” …Rihanna performed, too.
      Not the same.

      1. You should do a blog post about that – The Who’s gear. I’d buy that for a dollar etc. They were in their psychedelic stage so looked all fancy, but Pete Townshend started wearing boiler suits after that for some reason.

        One of my fave gigs, anyway, just behind Woodstock. Not that I was there (duh), but the clips are great.

            1. 3 blogs and 1 static website for work.
              I used to have 1 blog because I wanted to be a writer. Then I made a gown, and it became the hit. Then, I discovered Street Art. I’ve considered amalgamating into 1 blog, but everything seems so different.
              I think I might be overly creative. Like an illness or something.
              Like someone says to me regularly, you need help! Creativity is your problem.
              Yet, I function in the real world… sort of.

              1. Busy, busy! Busy, busy, busy as a bumble bee. Well why don’t you still want to be a writer, eh? Oh I see, the allure of ILLEGAL graffiti and hooliganism took over. I got you.

                Overly creative is good. I think I suffer from that. It makes my world tick, though. Without it, I’d simply sit staring at a wall going: “Muh…”.

  9. Love the variety of the collection. The first one took me back to the Golden Age of Cartoons. Thought the second set was wonderful (thus my fav). The third set was big and bold – definitely in high-quality street-art in a modern art. The last one made my smile!

  10. I really like these, Resa. They’re beautifully created. We have a chalk festival coming up too.The art is created on the street. They close the street for 2 days. I think the artists are generous to create their art and then have it washed away with rain and cars driving over them. Wonderfully captured …

    1. It’s so wonderful when people send us pictures of street art from other places! The dancing coule is amazing, and the girl with the animals is endearing. 😀

  14. I love the way the girl is seated on the window. Lots of great stuff here, Resa. I loved the collaboration between you and Eddie. He is so soulful. Can’t wait to see the other new things in the alleyway.

      The alley was a joyous discovery! The alley cometh, along with a slew of other pics I’ve taken recently. I even went to an Open House for a home on sale so I could get onto the second floor balcony to take shots of a piece that was 3 stories up and across the alley. LOL!
