Perfect for the top of week 2 of kids’ month.
It’s in a parking lot on Ossington near Queen St. W.
TY Jim Henson!

It’s a very different mural.
It’s 2 murals really. 1 on a warehouse, the other on the home beside it.
Couldn’t find an artist signature. I will still try, then update.
Wow, Resa; this one’s particularly good. The colours are amazing!
xoxoxo
The colors are great! That is partly because it’s freshly painted. xoxo
I love Kermie. This is great:)
Kermie… lol! Well, it is kids’ month here on GLaM. As no kids actually follow my blog, it’s up the the kid in all of us to enjoy the wonderful images artists’ paint in the street for children to see.
Very nice. Some of my favorites are on that mural.
It was an exciting find!
Amazing historical figures in just one mural!
It’s pretty great! Although I can’t quite figure who the guitar player on the far left is.
Awww, Kermie! Does there appear to be a theme going on here with all those people?
I guess, but I can’t quite figure what the theme is. Kermie (lol), Don Henson, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix, Irwin, the astronaut, a guitar play that I can’t quite place….and is that Jimmy Carter in the upper left?
I thought it must be Jimmy Carter but was afraid to say so because it didn’t make sense, LOL – he’s still alive!
“LOL” It really is an interesting mural!
Amazing – only miss my favorite “Animal” the drummer… 😀 😀 😀
Animal is my fave, too! 😀 you’ll have to play the drums in the meantime! 😀 😀
I’ll do that… 😀
I’d love to hear & feel!
Super awesomely great and most wonderful, I mean what a bunch, really!
Love these characters!
Me too!!! xoxo
Love this post, Resa – Where is Animal? 😉 😀
Le Drake Noir asked that, too! 😀 I’d love to find Animal out there… playing drums of course! 😀
Dear Resa!! Love the thought of it 🙂 🙂
Me too!
A great cast of characters – awesome find Resa!
Perfect for kids’ month! Oh, I found an urban fairy’s house today.
Can’t wait to see it!
You really have a nose for finding great murals such as this one dear Resa. Want a tissue ? 😀 xoxox ❤ #<
LOL! I have a box of tissues! 😀 xoxo ❤ #<
Oh, so cool, love them all!
A very great moment!
Very festive, and in the same time, very personal messages there.
I like this!!! I’m a fan of Jim Henson and his puppets … in my home I have a picture of him with Aughra (character in “Dark Crystal”) walking the streets of London, I am a little freaky, but I love his two films 🙂
Hey… I love this!!!! I will email you soon. For some reason I have become insanely busy! Much love & many hugs!!! xoxo
OK, good luck with your many tasks 🙂
Ahhhh, sorry, I just wanted to write the link to the photo and see which has materialized in the middle of this comment … I guess you can delete it.
I love this picture and I love Aughra 🙂 🙂
No deleting..I love it, too! 🙂 🙂
Aughra is adorable 🙂
I am so far behind Resa, and your wonderful postings keep going by, I am afraid I have missed some, but not this one. I love it, and nope I can’t figure the guitar player out either.
Hey, love it! I’m on your site… while you’re on mine.
Daniel, never worry about blogging. I don’t. I do what I can, when I can, if I feel it. It is not a job. It is fun, a passion, a wanting and many things… but this is not a job. xo
Thanks that makes sense. My OCD sometimes takes over. 🙂
Blown away by this art. And yes, the colours are amazing!
Hi Dale! I read your comment about being the first in line for Disney & Pixar films, so I know you are blown away, for sure! Boy, I am so loving Kids’ Month!
Woot!
This is like driving a souped up deLorean to the 70s. And Jimmy Carter is one of my favorite of the US Presidents. What a sweet man.
OMG! Myself & others have been wondering what this mural is all about. Brenda, you’ve hit the nail on the head…it’s about the 70’s!
James Dean was a bit earlier, but I still think it’s about the 70’s.
Yes, it looks like my childhood. And we used to talk about James Dean then. Dying young was something we all worried about with the reckless nuclear proliferation and constant threats of war.
Sounds like many things are still the same. Different mural… same worries!
Yes. I guess so. Hugs.
